Loved it!

I absolutely loved this series it was so entertaining! Loved the storyline and the fact that the romance was just enough without being vulgar Ty Ms. Pepper for hours of love and laughter ❤️

supposed to be funny

Just because people have idiocincrisies doesn't make the stories funny. I was also hoping these would be linked stories, but they are completely unrelated with the exception of their location.

First story is cute - then…..

I really dislike how annoying Meagan in book 2 is. It turned me off continuing with this story set. Way too boring

Peaches

It was a fun story line with lots of twists and turns. I look forward to mores titles by the author.

Very entertaining

I enjoyed listening to this series. All of the characters were relatable and most were funny.

Funny but not for a mature audience

These books seem more YA than romantic comedy. The primary women characters seem immature. I kept listening hoping they would get a clue but it only happened at the very end.

I love this whole series. It definitely made me want to stay up late to hear the next part.

The narrator does a fantastic job and is one of my favorites. She has great differentiations, fantastic acting skills, and is just easy and really fun to listen to. It's the same narrator that we all love from the Wisteria Witches Series.

My reviews / recaps of the first 4 books below - may add more later. Overall I highly RECOMMEND this group of books to the Rom-Com lovers out there! These books will make you laugh out loud and swoon along with the characters. She's one of my favorite authors, I love her sassy characters and how she pulls you in and you feel connected to them. It's simply an incredible deal to get 9 addictively fun books (48hrs of listen time) for one credit.

• Romancing the Flower Shop Girl – BK 1

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. Angie Pepper does such a great job bringing fun, interesting and very likeable characters into her books. This book may not have the fantasy magic side of some of her other series but the magic that happens between these characters is phenomenal. Enter flower shop girl stage right with a heartbreaking past, lives in a tiny house on the property of her nutty sister that also works in the flower shop. Add in a close friend with some serious almost "spectrum disorder" like issues especially around anything intimate.... just words like "panties" make her run for the hills. Now throw in a big handsome biker guy in the shop across the street and watch the craziness unfold. It truly is a fun rollercoaster ride that will satisfy any rom-com craving!

• Romancing the Complicated Girl – BK 2

Meeny the Crazy Cat Lady’s Story
Megan is a hot mess of rather too mean to date. She’s the sister of the MC of book 1 so you get to see a lot of familiar characters. Another fun and clean Rom-Com.

• Honey We Missed Our Honeymoon – BK 3

Story of a girl left at the alter from a runaway groom. She goes on her non-refundable honey by herself, and events unfold that start to change her outlook and way of life… really a great Rom-Com that was a lot of fun! There’re more closed-door bedroom scenes mentioned in this book but I really love how this author doesn’t show us, just mentions the activities with any detail. I don’t personally need a detailed sex scene to enjoy a Rom-Com.

• Dating the Funny Waitress – BK 4

The story of how a haircut can change your world.
Perry is a waitress at a unique dinner known for the sassy and rude costumer service. She’s very good at her job and has great friends and a bit of a home there at work. She’s the daughter of a movie star and granddaughter of a country music legend, so she comes with her own issues – dreadlocks and all. When her best friend at work challenges her to get rid of the dreadlocks, Perry takes the challenge and then everything starts to change including her now full tip jar. This one was a lot of fun and had a bit of a Never Been Kissed vibe to it. Very clean and funny story.

9 books in one - long and so fun

I loved these stories. I'm a fan of this author/narrator combo; they are such a great duo.

These stories are fun and entertaining while following the lives of multiple individuals whose lives intertwine. I love listening to everyone's story while knowing all the previous characters that were introduced. The 3 last books did leave me a little annoyed at the leading lady.

"Love and Laughter"

There are 9 books here, 5 of them are stories about different couples. The last 4 all go together for a longer story. There is some crossing over of characters between books. It's done well so it is a pleasant surprise when the characters you already know come back to check in. They feel like old friends.

All the stories are enjoyable and unique in their own ways. The characters have realistic flaws that make them likeable. The one person that I hated at first turned into the one I loved the most by the end. Sounds like some people I know. You are always rooting for the couples to get past their troubles for their happy endings.

The narrator has a very good comedy timing, and there are too many Laughin-Out-Loud moments to count.

The books are about 5 hours each which is the perfect length for a light romantic comedy. And the language is okay for listening in the car around other people even younger adults.

It is a very good value for one credit to get all these books and they are good too.
