The CISSP certification is the gold standard for security professionals. This exam resource is up to date for the 2015 CISSP Common Body of Knowledge created by ISC2. Simple CISSP has been intentionally kept as brief as possible without the "fluff" many other tomes include. The audiobook is narrated by the author to ensure all information is conveyed by someone who understands the industry. As a result, all acronyms and security terminology is correctly pronounced and described.

Please note that chapters may not have a descriptive name as displayed on your mobile device - this is limitation of the publishing platform. However, each chapter will always start with the title being read aloud, so it should be fairly simple to scan through chapters when you wish to revisit a subject.

Good supplemental resource

As anyone studying for this test knows, an audiobook isn’t enough by itself but I found this to be a great supplementary resource in addition to my more traditional study methods. The fact that it’s actually meant to be delivered as an audiobook makes it more digestible.

Helpful for the CISSP

The CISSP exam is a challenge indeed and developing a broad knowledge base of the material is key for successfully passing the exam. Phil covers the material in a clear manner that many can comprehend, follow and learn from. I listened to this many times during my travel to and from work. I listened to this audiobook about three times and enjoyed every minute of it. HIGHLY recommended!

only complaint is that the chapters were named. I've been looking for other such audio books. I hope he does other topics.

Massive amount of material

Huge book, extremely helpful review of all the main topics. Every time I thought it was over it was just time for a new chapter.

Passed the exam!

I used this resource when I was driving or walking. I used the Sybex book and transcender while at home. I attended a boot camp that used the sybex book. This audio book helped me reinforce topics.

The examples were the best things for me in the book. the material is laid out well and easy to follow. Brought together the other reading materials.
