Outstanding CISSP Audio Resource

The audio version of the book is an excellent companion to aid with learning the information. Highly recommend the audio version for people such as me who are slow readers.

I listen to this while reading along the book as it helped me focus and I ended up passing the test! I would definitely recommend this as a companion to the official textbook.

Great companion to the printed version

I've passed my Net+ and Sec+ using Sybex and Mike Chapple. I'm not the fastest reader, so this audio version was a great companion to listen to while I read along in my printed version.

Solid CISSP study material, fills in many knowledge gaps

This books in conjunction with other learning materials is such a booster from those studying to obtain their CISSP certification. The audio book at double speed is easy to follow and allows one to make notes. Listening to chapters multiple times to recap info and in my case I would highlight the text in the physical book.

Passed the CISSP exam

This book is long and dry at times but it does provide that CBK needed for the certification. You can still get the Wiley practice questions from this audio book but you just need to listen/find the keyword needed to sign up for it. When taking the exam, think people, process then technology (1 2 to then 3). Overall, I recommend listening to this while you’re driving to work but it’s too dry to listen and not do anything.

90-95%% the same as the 10th edition

The audio version of OSG 9th edition is nearly identical to the written 10th edition, with only minor omissions. I've confirmed this by following along with my 10th edition book while listening. While you should still obtain the 10th edition book to access all content, this audio version remains mostly relevant.

Given the fact that the 9th edition audio version was released in 2023, it's likely that the 10th edition won't be available audio wise until 2026. But that shouldn't deter you from purchasing this version if it helps you soak in all you need to know for the exam.

Brutal reading code or questions , syntaxes or just formulas without the visual. Burned through it using 1-“.5 to 3.0 average new version was approved Friday night for the 4/16/24 edition to be released in June by same authors. Leaving this here for historical sake

This is not the latest

The official study guide is divided in eight domains, not in continuous topics as in this book. There is no explanation why is being "shared" or taught this way.

unless there is a clear explanation, I won't recommend it.
