About this listen

Miyara has saved the day—again.

And once again, the world has come calling.

Everyone wants a piece of the magical disaster zone for their own agendas, and some will stop at nothing to destroy the border and bring catastrophe down on the world. It's up to Miyara to host a summit, bringing all the players to one place so she can find out what's going on and forge the connections necessary to stop it before it's too late for everyone.

Failure means the end of the world. Miyara has no choice but to prove, once and for all, that her path in serving people with tea is powerful enough to matter.

Royal Tea Service is the third book of the Tea Princess Chronicles, a cozy fantasy series full of magic tea, baby dragons, friendship, and lifting people up even when the odds seem impossible.

Great narration and fun fast paced story with vibrant characters.

I liked that both of the central characters were mature for their age s in regards to the relationship arc.

Fantasy world is nice and easy to follow. A bit of mystery and puzzle pieces which is fun.

Great book! Great series fanale! Great narrator! Perfect!!!

Great book! Great series fanale! Great narrator! Perfect!!! And Miyara is the focal point for change... for the Gallina race, the Witches, and for the Te Muraka as well. She set her roots down, building up the community and a self made family, and home. In this book Miyara is confronted by her actual sisters as well. Which gives them all a chance to form bridges and develop bonds they never had a chance to make as children. And Miyara the Tea Master with her Tea Spirit, Yorani, was encouraging all of it. And not only that but Miyara along with the help from her closest friends, family and community hosted a summit bringing the ambassadors together to stop a war and the destruction of the Cataclysm to save the world! With a deft hand Miyara lines up the pawns and sets everything in motion.
So yeah grab the audiobook to see how Miyara plays the game!

Here's a quote that tickled me:

“You are the most socially confused adult friends. It’s adorable.”

Great clean story

I prrsonally like a little more "color", but overall this was a great story. very clean (not smutty or gory) with all of the right feel goods an unapologetically strong heroine should represent.

Variety

Loved the variety of characters in the story trilogy. Loved how they interacted and headed toward a common goal and great that there was such a happy ending to everything.

Leaves you wanting more, not in a good way

Never has the end of the world felt so low stakes. There is a lot of political strategizing relying heavily on a bunch of teenagers and miraculously everything works out exactly as planned. And the romance feels off as well. Everyone in her circle pairs up like high school and they talk very freely about sex but the spiciness is about Taco Bell mild sauce level. It’s also weird that a majority of her actions as a tea master are performing the tea ceremony but it’s never explained at all in three books. From what I can tell it involves a sermon about what the person needs from her, selecting a specific blend, and pouring it which isn’t much of a ceremony. And at some point this becomes magical and summons spirits that save the day. The narrator does a decent job but doesn’t have a huge range of voices for how many characters there are so it’s hard to keep track of who is who and if I pause it and come back later I’ll have no idea who was talking.
