Listening to nature sounds is good for us!

Studies have found that when rain sounds enter people's brains, they produce alpha waves which actually cause the brain to relax unconsciously, pushing it toward a state of deep tranquility, creativity and stress reduction. The rain has a calming effect on us because of the properties of the sounds it makes. This is the reason the sound of rain is one of the most popular sleep sounds on people’s phones. Sounds like rainfall physically alter neural pathways in our brain, helping us to reach a meditative relaxed state of mind. Likewise, the slow crashing and swelling of sea sounds are a naturally calming veil of noise that is soothing and relaxing to the brain. The natural white noise of water flowing blocks out all other sounds, calms your nerves, and rejuvenates your soul at the same time. Let’s therefore not hesitate to take advantage of these serene and life-changing calming sounds.

Ah...so relaxing!
I love rainy days but living in Southern California, they are infrequent. We excitedly anticipate rain when we see it on the forecast but often it is just a light drizzle. This audio book was just what I was looking for! The sounds of rain were so soothing. I really enjoyed how quickly my mind was put to ease when I started this audio book. A perfect background as I worked on my computer.

The rain is my friend.
There is such a wonderful natural element in this audio book; great sound! The rain with thunder is my favorite sound here. The thunder is very soft, so it is not destructive at all. I feel more productive and stable while listening to this audio book.

Recommended listen
I came across this audiobook “Relaxing Sounds of Nature” which is good because I wanted to try listening to more titles related to relaxation. I am able to have a resource with regards to nature sounds that can help me sleep well. On opportunities to relax I can use this title as my go-to audiobook. Recommended.

Unbelievable
My friend gave me this audio, and I have become obsessed. It is Incredibly relaxing to listen while falling asleep, during yoga, or anytime you need to relax. I have never used sounds like these before, and I was pleasantly surprised with how calm I felt after just a few minutes of listening. This is now something part of my bedtime routine.
