Holy heck, this series. I'm absolutely one hundred percent obsessed with the stories, the characters and the dirty talk. I love how cohesive it is despite being written by multiple authors as well, they all share the same tone and a similar writing style that really works well.

I wasn't sure what to think of Rowan at first... Not a huge fan of the miscommunication trope, especially when it's a silly reason for withholding the truth... But Rowan did what he had to do and I was just happy he came clean and that Vi was able to accept it.

Holly was stinking adorable. I absolutely adored her and Rowan together and the "team" these three made was just so sweet. The ending and epilogue were perfect and I loved watching them find their happy ever after.

The audio was amazing. Samantha Brentmoor is always do fantastic and Gideon Frost was so great as Rowan. This DUET narration was such a great listen.

Second chance

I am loving the Sky Ridge Hotshots series. Rowan Kingsley is delicious! I loved this story of a second chance romance between Violet and Rowan "King." Their chemistry is off the charts, and as soon as Rowan saw Violet back in their small town, he had to fix what he broke years ago. I am obsessed with a man on a mission to stop at nothing to get his lady. Rowan is a selfless mmc and goes out of his way for Violet and her daughter, Holly.

Both narrators (Gideon Frost and Samantha Brentmoor) were fantastic in this duet style narration.

Really loved the storyline in this one, the narrators were amazing as well! I love how the writing styles between these books are similar and cohesive even though they’re written by different authors

The narration was truly exceptional! I am absolutely enamored with Gideon Frost’s voice; both narrators breathed life into the characters.

While this is the second installment in the Sky Ridge Hotshot series, it can certainly be appreciated as a standalone. Nevertheless, I value the interconnectedness of the narratives.

This story is exquisitely crafted, brimming with **tension and angst**, **trauma and healing**, **heartbreak and second chances**, all seasoned with delightful spice. The dual timeline added a special touch, illustrating how the characters fell in love at 18 and later reunited in life.

Better than Fight!

Enjoyed Protect a bit more than Fight. Felt the story was more relatable with a relationship/family driven with history theme and less the typical new girl in town falls in love at first sight trope. Love the wildland firefighters theme and all details about the realities of life of firefighters and other rescue/medical personnel. Only critique really is why does Scottie from Book 1 now have a weird southern accent, when all of Fight she didn't.

Amazing story and narration

Loved this installment of the Sky Ridge Hot Shots. Violet, Holly and Rowan stole my heart. 💜

Great duet narration

This one was definitely more emotional than Fight! Both Rowan and Violette are dealing with grief in their own ways. These two share a past and I love that we got a dual timeline! Rowan is determined to win Violette back while she wants nothing to do with him as they left on bad terms. After Rowan suffers an accident they are pretty much forced to spend more time together when Violette becomes his nurse. The duet narration by Samantha and Gideon was so good! You could feel all the emotions! Just incredible!
