About this listen

When town marshal Vic Falcone takes a bullet, he calls on the local preacher Tom McCabe to strap on a gun and wear the badge. The man who shot the marshal is in the town jail and awaiting trial, and the man's outlaw brother is out there somewhere, intending to free him. A lot for McCabe to handle, but even though he's a preacher, he's also the nephew of the gunfighter Johnny McCabe.

Great Western!

Another exciting story from Mr. Dennison. This follows Tom McCabe and many of our favorite characters from the McCabe family saga. Many thought provoking conversations are interspersed with dramatic action events. This is one of the best and Mr. Dennison is one of the best story tellers around. The audio continues with the realistic narration of J. Rodney Turner. All in all, a great experience.

Not as good as the first 4 books

Awesome narrator❤️. Would have been great if the preacher could have stopped contradicting himself and made a decision

coffee and more whiskey

1 in the day of this story coffee was very important. this trail coffee was not part of the trail. coffee was limited and using 3× is fiction. whiskey was not consumed by its self unless nothing else was avaliable. beer was the favorite then mixed drink. pistols were not hung low. that is Hollywood.
at least have some historical truth. I grew up on a ranch with old cowboys. their history was amazing. seems this author watched to many Roy Roger's shows
