the best audio narrator!

Pippin & Nacho are just goals, ok? They are the epitome of best friends to lovers, they are soulmates who will do anything for each other! Are they codependent? 100%. But to have that type of devotion? Amazing. Reading this story was a wonderful experience, but listening to it? 💋 Chef's kiss! Harley Chase once again absolutely killed the audio on this, he has such expressive and emotive narration! I loved it so much!!

Fantastic series

I have loved everything put out by this author, and this book is no exception. Also, Harley Chase has come out of nowhere as one of my go to listen narrators! He is so talented and puts so much emotion into his work.

Sam and Nate have been through extremely difficult times. Once they met each other in foster care, they each found somebody to love and support them unconditionally. They refused to be separated from that point forward, no matter what struggles that might mean for them. This book follows them through hard times and growth, from oblivious best friends to lovers. I especially enjoyed the focus on found family, and how great they all are.

I adored the epilogue, and would love to see a companion book that updates on each couple 10 years later.

Soulmates

I love these two so much—from the moment they met and immediately clicked, forming their own little family, to how they had to survive on their own as minors, with nothing but each other's love and support, until they finally found a family with the others in Alpha Rejects. I also love how Pippin had to carry out his tasks as someone on the neurodivergent spectrum and how Nacho supported him through the whole process. And how they both realized their dependence on each other and tried to improve it, growing personally so they could be better support for one another. My kids are the perfect example of soulmates—no matter the difficulties they face or the hard times they go through, they always find a way to keep moving forward while supporting each other.

Harley brought this book to life. It was a great book when you read it. But herding the emotion Harley has with Courtney’s words….perfection.

Broken and beautiful

Pippin and Nacho is a heartbreaking yet empiwering look at love and acceptance overcoming trauma and hate. This series is spectacular and these characters are especially endeaing. There is so much fantastic representation in this book.

As always the narrator is fantastic. He's perfect for these characters and I loved listening to this audiobook! Open door spice level: 4/5

Another amazing audio!

Pippin and Nacho’s story is a sweet, albeit, very co-dependent, friends to lovers story. The narration was amazing! Harley Chase does an amazing job.

Sam and Nate were so adorable and man, they went through it. I loved how they had each other from being in the foster system. Nate being the caretaker for when Sam needed him. God, I fell in love with these so much and the way they admitted their feelings for one another was so sweet.

I wanted to hug Sam from what he went through, especially dealing with his own shit. Absolutely loved the mental health in this whole series and man, I loved how Sam and Nate needed each other in the best ways.

I love that Nate found the courage to track down his father and that whole scene was so emotional. I also loved that they kept in contact too.

I just loved how in the end, these two got their happily ever after. What I loved was when Sam went to therapy because he wanted to better himself. Harley did an amazing job with the narration in this book. I’m a sucker for how well he voiced bother characters.

Nate and Sam

Courtney has a way of writing these broken boys that just makes you fall in love with them over and over. Harley Chase brings them to life and does an amazing job with making you feel all the emotions they experience.

I fell in love with this friends to lovers story from the very beginning. their story is definitely filled with things that will hit you right in the feels. Pippin and Nacho deserve all the good things coming their way but it's not an easy road to get their HEA.

if you love a story that will put you through all the emotions and has some amazing found family vibes then this one is definitely for you.

2 words HARLEY CHASE

Harley Chase absolutely killed this performance. He did a phenomenal job with Pippin & Nacho. The voice changes for each character was perfect, exactly how I imagined them sounding. And don't even get me started on the spicy scenes, cuz… Holy Hot!! I clipped so many passages, I can not get enough of Harley 🫠🔥

Courtney W. Dixon has a gift for writing beautiful broken boys. She represents her characters and their mental health issues accurately and respectfully and makes them so endearing that you can't help but fall in love with them.

Pippin's backstory is absolutely heartbreaking! It's terrifying to know what real people go through at the hands of people who are supposed to love and protect them.

Pippin and Nacho's story is one of friends secretly in love with one another who have to work through their co-dependency and childhood trauma to get their HEA. It's a beautiful journey. A well written book with amazing characters who get to experience all of their first together.

If you're a sucker for broken boys like I am, you need to read this book.

💕 Pippin & Nacho - BFF’s to more 💘

This was actually my first book in the Alpha Reject’s series. What can I say? I just was in the mood for a best friends to lovers story and boy did these two deliver! They were so cute and sweet together, but there was also growth where there needed to be. Overall, I just really enjoyed the story, be sure to check out the bonus epilogue for this book. You don’t wanna miss it. there’s a link in the e-book at the end. It really is chefs kiss. Now it’s time for me to read Stix and Stone, I’m excited! The narration was fantastic. I first listened to Harvey Chase in All Roads Lead to You and that was also a phenomenal book.
