Ren’s homecoming wish list includes: Arman not bashing everyone’s heads together (at least not without him), getting the fortress built before the Mongs attack (not at the rate they’re going with all the the thefts happening), and going home without incident (also, again, not likely). What it did not include was: Social reform, a child, araiding party, and rman actually using his words. Life once again proved reality is better than fantasy, and Ren couldn’t be happier.Except for the Mongs. He could do without the Mongs.

So cute and funny
An amazing tale of magic! An isekai romance with drama and mystery and humor. One of my favorite books of 2024 and the audio is absolutely wonderful!

Ridiculous title but so cute.

sexy and riveting
I really enjoyed the plot of this story, the sexy content was amazing as well. It would be great to see another story to come out of this stand alone book.

Wonderful story!
I loved everything about this story. The love that these two men share and the fact that together they saved their peoples lives, shows that they deserve the love that they get from all of their friends. I recommend this book to everyone who loves mm romance stories especially when magic is included.

Very good!
This can easily be a stand alone book. The story was very good and it was funny in some parts. there are 2 things I didn't really like, sometimes I'd make the MC think and say things that are like the stereotypical gay stuff. I didn't really like that, others might be okay with it. the second is that there were 2 speakers, so when they did each other's characters voice it was very badly. Especially when the voice doing the ML would try to voice at the MC. it came off very flat and emotionally. other and those two things, it was great! it was worth the read!

Good Story with Occasional Flaws
A great premise and good narration is messed up a few times when the hero becomes a flaming queen. Stereotypically gay in certain spots, it is disappointing to see Jake become a caricature.
