Dark Romantic Suspense

Perfect Sin by Kimberly Carrillo is a dark romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Nathaniel Gray and Phillipa Miller. This is the second book in the Pretty Monsters Trilogy.

I am really enjoying the relationship between Sin and Raven. It's extremely messy but I can't help root for them. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book.

The book ended on another great cliffhanger. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Peaceful Chaos to see how their story will end.

Nathaniel and Phillipa did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a romantic suspense.

The narrators did a good job giving the characters a voice and telling the story.

This is part 2 of 3. In this part secrets are revealed, more lies and deceptions, truths come out, some vigilant work with a tad of justice, backstabbing, not knowing who to trust. More obstacles getting into Sin and Raven's way all while trying to get an education. I enjoyed listening to this and look forward to the conclusion.

omg are you for reals. I'm really hating Ravens dad. He's such a sick and sadistic man and the things he's done oh my God and poor sin. He shouldn't never have to gone through all that I can't believe he was stolen from his parents. I love all the plot twist that happen. Kimberly sure knows how-to keep us at the edge of our seat. I can't wait to start the next book.

Wow this crazy ride gets crazier

Wow this crazy ride gets crazier. I never knew what was going to happen next because crazy twists and turns are rampant in this trilogy. Sin and Raven and all their friends have a huge minefield to navigate and shockers come out of nowhere. That ending! Yet again left with questions and on edge of seat with anticipation...I have an idea of what may be happening and that all isn't as it seems!! Cannot wait for the final book to come to audio so I can find out if I'm right! And jeeze how much more can these people possibly have to endure? Narrators bring this crazy ride to life.

Wow, even more amazing!

This was even better than the first book, so much going on and so many betrayals and you just never know what’s going to happen next. Can’t wait to see how it all ends.

Thrilling and full of suspense...

Perfect Sin is book 2 in the Pretty Monsters Trilogy and starts where book 1 leaves off. This one is thrilling and full of suspense. It's an emotional read full of found friendships and allies. There are dangers lurking around every corner. I was hooked from the start. This one also ends on a cliffhanger.

Nathaniel Gray & Phillipa Miller did a good job portraying these characters.

Perfect Sin

Perfect Sin is the second book in the Pretty Monsters trilogy. This book immediately jumps into action. Sin is taken by his so called "parents". Sin and Raven secretly get married. Raven and Lucien's father uses their marriage for his own benefit. This book is full of action. I can't wait to start the next book!

Phillipa Miller and Nathaniel Gray did a fantastic job narrating this book.

I'm not sure if I just wasn't in the right head space for this story or if I just didn't love it like I did the first. It felt really long and drawn out and like a filler story in the trilogy. That being said, I did still enjoy it and I found the action parts of the story great. And the last half an hour grabbed my attention and with that wicked cliffhanger, I'll certainly be picking up book three.

The audio was really well done. Nathaniel Gray and Phillipa Miller were absolutely fantastic and I really enjoyed listening to them narrate this story. I'll definitely be looking for more from them in the future.

Excellent Continuation!

I loved this trilogy by Kimberly Carrillo. It is the first series I've read/listened to that was written by her. With the engaging storyline and complicated characters, I have become totally invested. Sin and Raven continue to fight for their relationship, with friendships that warm my heart. I was so glad to be traveling where I didn't have many interruptions. I was excited to be able to listen to the final audiobook immediately after this one!

Nathaniel Gray and Phillipa Miller are excellent narrators. Their performances were emotional and had the audiobook rolling like a movie in my head. I loved their smooth voices and they work well together. Perfection!
