Arran just comes through every time . Love the build up chemistry between the two main characters

Dreamiest Accents

Went into this one mostly blind except for a ‘sexy hunger games’ kind of TT teaser. The story was so engaging. The sex was hot, the romance was so sweet, and the plot was completely consuming. Accents are always iffy in audiobooks but I thought every character voice was perfect. Also will for sure be looking up all of these narrators’ other works because I loved their voices and the way they narrated the story. going to get this title on kindle for a reread because I adored this story from start to finish. Can’t wait for the rest of the series too! Easy 10/10!

You really should read the Dark Island Scott’s series before this one because it is a continuation which I loved! The book has it all-humor, mystery, love and amazing sex! The continuation of the story line is well done and left me wanting more!

Suspense + SPICE

Genevieve is doing what she can to get by in her city that is ruled by gangs. She hates the gangs, but is doing her best to be comfortable in the life she has, living with her father and brother, Riordan. Her life is turned upside down though when she comes home to an eviction notice on her door and her father seems to be missing. As if her day couldn’t get any worse she steps out into traffic and is hit by a car, insert Arran. Arran is a hot and mysterious man to Genevieve. To those that know him though, he is just a man trying to overcome his dark past. He operates two clubs, Divide and Devine, one is your average night club and the other is a strip/s*x club. When Genieve finds herself at one of Arran’s clubs, following a lead on her father’s whereabouts, she never expected to find herself in the middle of a “GAME” she was not prepared for. In typical Arran fashion he saves her, but due to game rules the two are forced to spend the next month together.
This was my first time reading a book by Jolie Vines and let me just say there is a reason this book ended up a #1 Best Seller! This book blew me away, there were so many layers to peel back and questions to be answered that I could not put it down! There was a new discovery around every corner. The suspense, twists, turns, and SPICE were top notch. I am going to blush every time I look at my remote control now. Thank goodness this was only book one, because I can’t get enough of this series!
I cannot praise this narration enough! The cast was perfect! All of the narrators were new to me, with the exception of Shane East. As predicted, he was the perfect narrator to bring Arran to life. Arran was a very complex character and Shane did a great job portraying that. Allie Rose was a great fit for Genevieve, she did a wonderful job bringing all of Gen’s sass and fierceness to life, as well as her sweet and gentle side. Ella Lynch and Theodore Zephyr were a fantastic addition to this audiobook. Both gave an incredible performance and I can’t wait to listen to them in Connor’s Claim.

Wow!

Have heard many of Jolie Vines books, but this one gets you from the start! It keeps pulling you in trying to get you to guess what is coming next. Enjoyed the story line, Could not put it down. Definitely looking forward to book 2.

Arran and Gen

*Dark Island Scots is a must read before this* You will know Arran better by knowing his past. Having said that - Arran made me so mad. So mad for so many reasons. I understand his reasons better now but I still don't like them.

Genevieve was just trying to find answers. I feel for her getting caught up in a mess that she stumbled into but it turned out to be her HEA - for both her and Arran.

Jolie never disappoints and the narrators were spectacular! Can't wait for Connor's story next!
