What do you have when you blend a pinch of LitRPG, a touch of farming simulator, a sprinkle of epic fantasy, a whole cup of Isekai, and a dash of Home Alone? You have Arnold’s life.
Accidentally murdered by a cleric in another universe during a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer, wakes upon an altar to find himself incarnated into the overweight body of a farmer who could have been his fatter twin. He’s not the hero. He’s not the villain. He’s certainly not the chosen one who is there to save the world. He’s a clerical error.
It could be a bad joke, but apparently, it happens so often that they have a standard procedure for returning you. That standard procedure doesn't apply to Arnold.
Now stuck on a new Earth, in a new universe, with no way home, Arnold must use his gaming skills to figure out how to level his farmer class to 100 and gain a second class which doesn't make him want to beat his head against the wall. There is just one small problem: Farmers don't gain experience from killing monsters. Like at all.

Great book - absolutely worth it
I really liked this book, it was so many funny and weird things that just fell into eachothers that made it excellent to listen to. Travis makes a fantastic performance as usual, that helps I guess. Well the setup is great, Arnold is transfered into a farmers body, on another plane and does not want to farm his way to level 100 (where he can chose another class) so he uses loopholes in the nature of laws... It feels relatable and you get sucked into his adventures very easily. One of few books that I immidiatly feels is good enough to relisten to at once, just for the fun.
Great book, hope it becomes a series... really recommend it.

As Good as LITRPG gets!!
That's my opinion of course, but I believe it. I've got 180+ titles in my Audible library, and most are Litrpg or close to it. This author knows how to write an engrossing story without any noticeable flaws in the prose or plot. Don't worry about your money, it's well-spent on this title.

This is a typical litrpg book, it has a few chuckles and some exploits but nothing noteworthy. I probably wouldn’t buy it again but if it was a gift I wouldn’t be mad.

Fantastic!
I downloaded this without sampling before a procedure. I had no ability to turn it off and I am so greatful for that happening. At first I couldn't get into it, but 3 hours later I couldn't wait to get back I to my car so I could continue listening. I ended up bingeing all it in 3 days actually rearranging my schedule so I could do activities that I could do while listening. It is the perfect mix of fantasy, and comedy!!!
