Important for Businesses

This is an amazing handbook that focuses on defining the notion of boards of directors in nonprofit organizations. After doing so, the author then takes it one step further and discusses how to design a board of directors that is strategic, impactful, and of the best quality. The author did a wonderful job by providing the readers with a guide that is straightforward and simple to understand. You will have a great grasp of the role that a board plays in recruitment and fundraising as a result of reading this information.
In addition, it will assist everyone in understanding how to build an effective board of directors, which is especially helpful for executive and senior management staff of nonprofit organizations. I recommend it.

I found this audiobook so informative and just an endless supply of information. This is something that I am really into and have been looking for this kind of information for a long time. A Great Resource for Success

This audiobook has it all. Full of information on how to build a strong board of Directors that will give your non-profit a success it deserves. It will show you where to look, for your board members, what qualities to look and how to recruit them and how to resolve conflict should it arise. What i love about it is how the author was able to structure this guide into a simple, easy to follow guide that can be understood by common folks like you and me. So if you wanted to have a successful non-profit venture, this is for you, Highly recommend it. Very well done.

A Most Marvellous Book

This book tells you how to create and manage a board with all the legalities, procedures, and financial considerations of such. Also, what to do if you have heated arguments or other shenanigans in your meetings. What to do when a board member is not fulfilling their responsibilities and much more.

Important business lessons lie within!

If you ever want to serve your community, state, or country as well as learn some fantastic business lessons, this audiobook has so much for you to learn from. Examples of non-profit businesses covered in this audiobook include The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Catholic Charities USA, The Nature Conservancy, Boy Scouts of America, and Goodwill Industries. All these and more do enormous good in various areas of our lives, though you may not see it. These businesses also provide opportunities to recruit from their local communities, providing meaningful work while doing good for others in need. While each business is unique, all boards of directors have the same business practices and disciplines that this audiobook covers. What are the roles of the board of directors, and what skills should they have? Fundraising, knowing why and how to run an audit, and compensation committees are all inside.
