About this listen

Corvus has hatched his dragon, but the adventure is just beginning.

Adopted by the nomadic Horse Folk, former prince, Corvus, and his dragon, Charm, have grown in both levels and skills. He’s happy, but Corvus worries his progress is starting to stall.

When an old enemy of the monarchy rises to take revenge on the kingdom, Corvus knows he and his dragon must grow stronger. Fast.

But his new life clashes with his old as a prince when he encounters his cousin, Starella, a girl who was once like a sister, but one he now can't trust. She has a dragon egg of her own, and if she were to hatch it she would be the next heir to the throne.

His people need a leader to face down an oncoming demon swarm. Corvus is faced with a fork in his chosen Path of the Dragon Mage.

Can he be the prince his people need, or can he be something more?

Nomad is book two of Path of the Dragon Mage series, an epic fantasy with a RPG magic system.

Awesome

I have to say while i liked the book and found it entertaining, every single major character did something really annoying and it was frustrating to the point that i almost took a break from the audiobook especially the cousin found her to be the most annoying of them all and that developing relationship between her and rowan was extremely weird and creepy. hope to see less of her

Choosing your own path

I liked the idea of being able to choose one's own path from a sellection of ones strengths and inheritences.

Awesome narrator and a very good story.

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is becuase the development of the MC powers and abilities seem to be lacking. I personally like the 0 to hero or OP protagonist which is why I started the series.

How could a guy with a pet dragon not be strong. How can a guy with an access to a system while no one else does not outpace everyone else?

He makes it to level 22 after what is essentially 7 years with the systems and his love interest makes it to 19 within 2 years and is already shown to be stronger in a combat sense. He still has almost 0 combat abilities. sure he has what is essential tools, but he is still mostly helpless without his equipment or dragon. At what point do we see him become a "dragon mage"?

And personally not a fan of The ending. The one advantage he truly does have he decides to give it to everyone. Shades of a Japanese Light Novel MC, too kind.

Better than the first

Nomad, from both a story perspective and a performance one, is greatly improved over Exiled. I am glad that I decided to continue on and pick up the second book in the series, and now I can't wait to hear word about book three.

Great second book I'm excited for the next one

This series will be one of my favorites, and the voices are well done. The only sad thing is having to wait on more books to release becuse I found it when it was new. 10/10

Fantastic Book!

A great book that uses both litrpg mechanics in an interesting way. I love the story and the implications/hints that are being laid for the future! I can't wait to read/listen to the 3rd book when it comes out.

A must Read

Seabourne and Gilliland present another epic story.

The first book was fantastic and enjoyable. The characters are vibrant and alive. Gilliland does another fantastic job of bringing all the characters into perspective and enjoyable. Seabourne writes an excellent story with good character development and building a world that at time is surprising in a good way.

There is laughter, groans and almost, even tears throughout the story.

I highly recommend this series to anyone interested in fantasy and gamelit books.

Didn't quite stick the landing

The story overall was quite good and overall worth the money I spent. But unfortunately the author kinda fumbled the ending. As to avoid spoiling the story I'll be a bit vague and simply say he should have left the epilogue out entirely. It made no sense at all, it was simply there to further the plot. This isn't a bad thing and is one if the functions of an epilogue, but in this case it was devoid of any logic and didn't fit with the story and characterization established ealier in the book.
