Joshilyn RULES

I enjoyed every minute of this story. First off I am a big fan of the author and second I love her narration. That said, I haven't loved everything she has written. This story grabbed me from the first moment to the last. The characters were well crafted and well layered. The story, while a bit bizarre, was also believable in many ways-maybe not quite as exaggerated. I enjoyed the descriptions about diving ( which I know nothing about ) and how she used it as analogy to what the characters were going through emotionally. I have recommended this as a great summer read to all my friends and for those who love audio its a dont miss!

Not Your Usual Joshilyn Jackson Book

It is very difficult to review Joshilyn Jackson’s newest release. I actually had to pause several times because I wasn’t sure I could handle the next event. In the end I couldn’t figure out whether Amy was a heroine or a sociopath.

Ms. Jackson, with or without your southern accent, it’s time to move on to thrillers. You have indeed arrived.

Fantastic book!

This books takes you on a whirlwind journey!! The characters are deep! And once you think you have it figured out you are completely thrown off track! Unbelievable ending!

Many twists to this story!

Great book! Joshilyn narrates exceptionally well. couldn't stop listening, wanted to know what was going to happen next! you'll surely love this book and you'll never guess the surprise ending!!!

An thrilling adventure

4.5 Stars The storyline was interesting but at times cringeworthy. I felt like it went on slightly too long but overall it’s an enjoyable listen. I’m astounded by the narration by the author. It was phenomenal.

Worth the credit

Really good story line. If you are looking for a book that “hooks” you... this one will do it. I am not at all a grammar snob but I can see those who are picking this whole book apart. A lot of repetitive writing but nothing that takes away from the richness of the book. I definitely recommend this book.

very long & drawn out.

This was the never- ending book!! So much detail and description that it borderlined tedium.

This one threw me for a loop!

I read a lot of thrillers and most of the time I feel a bit underwhelmed. This one was a great read and kept me engaged the whole time. Loved it!

Kept me engaged throughout

I finally figured out about halfway through this novel that it was written primarily for a female audience. That's OK. It was a good story and I enjoyed it. Well written and with the requisite amount of twists and turns. Amy was a strong character but she wasn't Jack Reacher. Male listeners will miss the absence of macho violence with the good side winning. But they will probably enjoy the dripping evilness of Roux and the fact (a spoiler coming) that she gets her comeuppance. It would have been much more satisfying if Amy could have punched her in the face once or twice. Not sure if I liked the Tig character. The author left it to the listener's imagination as to his worth. Probably a good thing. I liked this Chick Thriller enough to give it four stars. Might give the author another listen.
