When i say this is a book!! Baby this is a BOOOK!!

The actors did so great to bring this to life. It was so well written and such great detail. Every twist and turn of this story had me at the edge of my seat I couldn't stop listening just to see what was happening next. Then the ending..... Trust me... get the book you will not regret it at all

Plenty of

Twists and turns. It held my attention and I wanted to see what happened. Became a little far fetched (even for this kind of story) toward the end but it did keep me interested and I wanted to come back to the story as often as possible.

Incredible Story and Storytelling

The entire book is a deep dive into the mind of an outwardly unlikely serial killer. The portrayal of each character is vivid and relatable, making them easy to get attached to and difficult to let go. The narrators should be called actors for this one. I’ve listened to many but these ladies take the cake!

Intriguing story with a twist

I really enjoyed this story with a twist. There aren't many with a female serial killer. The actors did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. The ending was a surprise and will recommend this to all my friends.

I don’t leave reviews but this book was so good I just had to give it 5 stars! I couldn’t stop listening.

My Darlings

The story line was weak. I couldn’t get by the narrator. Grating. I was going to not finish. So unbelievable.

Fantastic Performance

This was a suspense that I could not put down until it was done. I loved how the writer included bits about the childhood of the killer because I always wonder about the backstory of characters like that. The performance was read so well that I would not recommend anyone read this story without also listening along because they would be sorely missing out. It is performed in a believable but very disturbing way!

Difficult to continue

Spoiler alert- only reason I finished the book was to see the main character get what she deserved. The narrator was good but the main character is such a narcissist that it was hard to listen to her.

Enthralling, terrifying

I listened intently til I finished this book, and had a good time. Great narration and the story is consistently unraveling at a good pace. The whole book I was thinking about this review, because parts of me hated it, but I think I just resist certain stories for fear they become a trope nightmare.

The whole story I wondered about another book with the daughter’s story. I really think it’d be a great examination of a daughter of a narcissist—in the most extreme ways.

Twisty and engaging

Interesting concept for a book. The ending could have been better, it felt like the author took time to explain in detail everything in the first half of the book and then rushed to wrap it all up. A bit sloppy at the end but still good.
