Creepy

This book was fast-paced, action-packed, and creepy as heck. Interesting story and well-written.

Quick passed and loved it!

It’s a super quick paste story. It gives simple details but not too much on the main characters which I enjoyed. I like how it just gets going super quick and answers little questions along the way to keep you interested.

Crazy story

Kinda glad it was only a couple of bucks not sure I would have continued to listen

Humor, Horror, and One Heck of a Good Read!

The mystery

I really did enjoy listening to this book. I only am disappointed with not much explanation in the ending. What made the creatures or whatever they were do what they did maybe I missed it ?

Not what I was expecting

I nearly gave up a couple of times because it just went in such an unexpected way, but I’m glad I stuck with it. It’s good. Weird. But good.

eh, good narration, overall its lacking for me

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I have questions left unanswered. I stuck around hoping for the best..

I really was just a morsel

I feel like the basement was found too early. In my opinion, it didn't give enough time to care about the characters. Also there was no explanation at all of what the creatures or children were or where they come from. That kills me in a story to be left wondering. Other than that, it had it's good points too. I loved the grittiness of the death scenes. Sometimes horror tends to be prettier on paper instead of the messy backwardness of real life.

Definitely kept me guessing

Most books I can pretty much guess the outcome. But Abe is a great story teller and you never see the ending until the last several pages.

Not for everyone..

But I thoroughly enjoyed it. Weird strange horrible grotesque gruesome but interesting in a very off kilter sort of way
