Another solid Mrs Jefferies story. I'm so glad Audible is adding more of these. My library only had 8 and none were the early stories. I like to start a series from the beginning and watch the characters develop and grow. It's fun to watch the relationships change and see how it all began. On to the next one for me!

Ms Nettleton captures the characters precisely. Mrs Jeffries Yorkshire accent is fun to listen to.

Very entertaining . I love the compassion Mrs. Jefferies has for humanity and how uplifting she is too. Encouraging folks in her own positive way. The character development y the writer and narrator is wonderful. The narrator is so versitile with her voicing work. I feel like I am right there with each character.

This is a fun set. I have enjoyed the characters. A little predictable but enjoy how they get in the thick of it.

Well plotted. This is a cozy and yet it has substance but not beyond the scope of a good cozy. The characters feel alive. There is a bit of an edge. Interesting setting in early Scotland Yard in a realistic feeling London. I have the entire series of 41 and have felt pretty much the same about all of them. Recommend for a good read about adult characters facing adult situations.

It’s was a nice mystery. A little dark with the description of the dead body but other than that it was cute. Others have mentioned their dislike for the inspector being so “dumb” he doesn’t seem dumb to me but. Naïve.. and that’s ok because it gives Mrs Jefferies somethings to do

Fun mystery that keeps moving and keeps you guessing. Good performance adds to the book. A good one to listen to. Characters are also interesting and draw you in.
