About this listen

The only tie-in book for USA's award-winning series Mr. Robot, Elliot's journal - Red Wheelbarrow - is written by show creator Sam Esmail and show writer Courtney Looney.

Before and during the events of season two, Elliot recorded his most private thoughts in this journal - and now you can hold this piece of the series in your hands. Experience Elliot's battles to gain control of his life and his struggles to survive increasingly dangerous circumstances in a brand-new story rendered in his own words.

You'll discover the story behind Mr. Robot season two and hints of what is to come. This book is the ultimate journey into the world of the show - and a key to hacking the mind of its main character.

Mr. Robot is a psychological thriller that follows Elliot (Rami Malek, The Pacific), a young programmer, who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader (Christian Slater, Adderall Diaries) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect.

From a Mr. Robot fan

Great book that fills in gaps from the TV show. there performance was great and impressive given that the author voice actor read as 3 different characters (both male and female)

A great listen for fans of the show.

First off, if you haven't seen the season 1 and 2 of the show, watch them first and then listen to this book. Otherwise you won't understand what's going on. Once that is out of the way, this book is a good supplement for the fans of the show.

The narrator did a fab job. All three voices were performed brilliantly. I haven't read the book, but after listening to it, I now wanna see the book.

Hot Carla didn't burn this book

Would you listen to Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow again? Why?

If you are a Mr. Robot fan and you will surely enjoy this audio book!
Narrated by Eve Lindley who played Hot Carla in season two, and OMG!!

What did you like best about this story?

Not only does she have a calming voice, but an impressive range of voices; her impersonation of Mr. Robot (Christian Slayter) is unmistakably good and you can just about see him saying it. Just like every thing else with this show... IMPRESSED!

Have you listened to any of Eve Lindley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Unfortunately this is the only book on audible that she has narrated, I would CERTAINLY listen to her performance again!

A must read for mr.robot fans

If you've watched the show especially season 2 then you know what a mind trip it was to navigate until the end gave you clarity about what was going on with elliott. but this book gives a deeper dive into Elliott mind and emotions. its also gives a whole lot more insights to his relationships with others. if you love mr.robot this is something you must experience once.

oh my god

I loved this.
The way Elliots mind works is amazing and I love the in depth look at what really went on. I could hear his voice when the narrator was reading and it made it so much better. Funnier in some Places for some reason. I hope they do another book like this.

Love it! Such a great experience!

Loved it! Wasn't expecting hot Carla to be the narrator but I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. Really enjoyed the experience. I don't think it would have been remotely the same if I would have read it without the awesome narration. It really brought the words to life in my head. So pleased!
