Acerca de esta escucha

Judyth Vary was once a promising science student who dreamed of finding a cure for cancer; this exposé is her account of how she strayed from a path of mainstream scholarship at the University of Florida to a life of espionage in New Orleans with Lee Harvey Oswald. In her narrative she offers extensive documentation on how she came to be a cancer expert at such a young age, the personalities who urged her to relocate to New Orleans, and what led to her involvement in the development of a biological weapon that Oswald was to smuggle into Cuba to eliminate Fidel Castro. Details on what she knew of Kennedy's impending assassination, her conversations with Oswald as late as two days before the killing, and her belief that Oswald was a deep-cover intelligence agent who was framed for an assassination he was actually trying to prevent, are also revealed.

This was a compelling story of a part of history altered over the years. I wasn’t born during this timeline but felt like I was there every moment

I first saw Judyth on YouTube promoting her book and I couldn’t get enough of her account of her life. I bought her book and read it from cover to cover before an evening was through. I believe every word she said. She is amazing and so is her book.

What an awesome woman

Where does Me & Lee rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks as among the most informative; I don't like to compare on a linear scale; makes no sense.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Me & Lee?

When the depth of the involvement of Oswald with David Ferrie became apparent it made it very clear how little we were told in the way of truth by the Warren Commisison.

What does Kathleen Godwin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She read with clarity and empathy- - it sounded like the real Judyth Vary Baker was speaking to the microphone.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Breaking the slag off the truth.

Any additional comments?

This book is a must read, along with "Dr. Mary's Monkey" if one wants to truly understand the breadth and depth of the cover-up of the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

What kind of world do we live in? How does this go on daily right under our nose?
This book will open your eyes to some of the most diabolical schemes perpetuated on the People of the United States.

I wish the entire world could read or listen to this book!

Very good...I think this book actually offers a sensible timeline and never before heard facts regarding the JFK assassination.

Great Book..Good Narrator

A genius young woman and a detailed (and verifiable) reconstruction of her life experiences and encounters with notable figures, makes this story and explanation of Lee Oswald much more convincing than the Warren Report or other conspiracy theories.

Mind blowing believable account by Judyth Vary Baker.

What a mess our nation has gone through. A coup, a fake investigation, lies and more lies, president’s involvement and a corrupt congress.

The 3rd world dream

Where does Me & Lee rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top of the list, very best audio book I've ever listened to.

What other book might you compare Me & Lee to and why?

Mary's Monkey. Both talk about the contaminated mokey virus in the polio vaccine and how all of us Americans who got the vaccine were exposed to cancer cells.

Have you listened to any of Kathleen Godwin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but she is very good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Judyth Vary Baker explains all of Lee's last days of life and knowing why he left his wedding ring on the dresser was very moving.

Any additional comments?

If you want to find out what Lee Harvey Oswald was REALLY like, who was involved in the JFK shooting and why, how we were trying to kill Castro, why we don't cure cancer even though the cure was discovered in the 70's, what was going on in New Orleans in the summer of 1963 and how and why a talented 19 yr. old was forever banned from cancer research and forced into exile, listen to this audio book.
