Acerca de esta escucha

At the height of the Cold War, JFK risked committing the greatest crime in human history: starting a nuclear war. Horrified by the specter of nuclear annihilation, Kennedy gradually turned away from his long-held Cold Warrior beliefs and toward a policy of lasting peace. But to the military and intelligence agencies in the United States, who were committed to winning the Cold War at any cost, Kennedy's change of heart was a direct threat to their power and influence. Once these dark "Unspeakable" forces recognized that Kennedy's interests were in direct opposition to their own, they tagged him as a dangerous traitor, plotted his assassination, and orchestrated the subsequent cover-up.

Douglass takes listeners into the Oval Office during the tense days of the Cuban Missile Crisis, along on the strange journey of Lee Harvey Oswald and his shadowy handlers, and to the winding road in Dallas where an ambush awaited the president's motorcade. As Douglass convincingly documents, at every step along the way, these forces of the Unspeakable were present, moving people like pawns on a chessboard to promote a dangerous and deadly agenda.

Many of the the things we suspected are shown to be correct. He addressed all of the incidents that fill in the holes to what we had conspiracies about. Also gives new insights into JFK and his presidency and the man and his desires.

Very eye opening

This book was extensively researched and written by an author who put his heart and soul into it. It's apparent throughout. After listening through it I'm more convinced than ever of our government's efforts to cover up the truth. Not only with this but all its transgressions. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen. It's well worth the time.

Should be required reading in all US History classes

In horror I awoke in a hut on Guam in 1963 to the words that president Kennedy had been killed. Until now I had not heard such a complete recount of the facts that led up to that moment and after. This was truly an eye opener for me.

Enlightening

Exceptional research with deeply disturbing findings about the murder of a sitting President. Overwhelming evidence supporting the idea our intelligence agencies were involved in the act itself and subsequent cover-up.

Unfathomable insight into the real happenings around the JFK assassination, cover up, and key players.

After 6+ decades of U.S. citizenship I thought I knew something about this country and its principles, I was wrong. JFK was the last real leader president to occupy the White House and this perception has been expressed by world leaders brought to us by great writers like James Douglass. Bravo sir you have my thanks.

Wanna learn something about US.

Douglass has assembled disparate pieces from JFK Assassination witnesses, silent for forty years for fear of death, into a puzzle whose while image brings the dark shadows into the light. A must-read!

must read for JFK assassination info

So much information presented very clearly with excellent first-hand sources. No hearsay here; all very well researched and laid out. I’m not sure I would have read the entire text but listening to it, it spun out like the thread of a “whodunnit” novel.

Wow

In order to understand - one must dive deep into the who, what & why. It’s worth two listens. You pick up more the second time than the first. Easier to see dots connected. For years I was certain it was “rouge” elements of CIA — maybe they weren’t “rouge”. Maybe they did it more out in the open than I ever realized……

Deep Dive

A long but interesting book. Could have been shorter without losing the center theme.
At the end felt the need to fact check.
