Loved it! It was my first Laurann book. I could not stop listening. I really enjoyed the plot and the hot males. The book is even better than I expected. I cannot wait to listen to the next book.

This is one of the BEST stories I have EVER heard! This one is a keeper! I laughed, cried and other emotions I had listening to this story. Gonna have to listen to this again!

Yummy smexy read!!!

I had previously read this book and decided to reacquaint my self with the series in audio. It reminded me of just how much I enjoyed it the first time around!! Such a great read!

Mika is just the sassy snarky kind of gal I love to read. She knows what she wants and goes for it. I adored her banter and spunky attitude. The way she teases Grady is so naughty and delightful! She does push things too far at times, especially knowing the danger she faces.

Grady is a gruff Alpha wolf, who has no plans for a human mate. This makes him a bit of an a-hole most of the book. He is fighting it with everything he has and really not very likeable at times.

The whole book is from Mika's POV, which is part of why Grady comes off so badly. If there had been a mixed narrative he cold have explained himself to the reader in his thoughts. Cause his actions said major bad news d-bag.

The steam is off the charts hot!!! I am talking forget eh panties and have a fella nearby!!! Oh lord do those wolves like to lick their treats! And the biting. And the dominance!! Good lordy!

There are some major drama moments in the story, these kids have things to work out. I really loved the supporting cast and hope to see some wolfie brothers find mates soon!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by G. C. VonCloudts, who does a great job. Plenty of variation in the voices and consistency. She has a great tone that leads itself to the material. I loved her energy throughout the read, especially in the naughty bits! The girl gives good voice!

I really enjoyed this book despite the hero being arrogant and highhanded. I am eager to read the next book in the series again and then move on to the third book which will be a first time read!

anglo human girl gets 1/2 breed alpha male in heat

An adopted 28 anglo girl visits her shifter uncle. She falls for the alpha leads bastard oldest half breed son during the summer heat. He has issues due to his mixed breed nature. She develops feelings but, has to be realistic. Mating with an human is looked down on. Her adopted parents had received hardship due to her mother being a shifter and her father being human. But her mother's brother also loved his niece like his own. She knew about shifters but. her heart fell in love. She can't just have sex without attachments. But, the issues that the lead alpha's 1/2 breeds son is in the way of mating a full wolf female or fall for a human female like his mother. But, knowing his human mother left him. Alone and didn't bond with him made him fear that the human female he cared for would do the same. This was a nice sexy story.. No diversity of other skin colors other than different races of human with shifters all anglo with pale skin. Good ending. Worth a credit. Hope to find out if she attempts to be "turned " or have pups.

this is a good story. the narration was great. Now the narration didn't match the book sometimes but not to much it can't be followed.

Turned my frown upside down!!

Ok so I was hella mad when I first purchased this book because I read the title wrong and thought I was purchasing a “set” of books not an individual book. HOWEVER, this was the best mistake I made!! I was so engaged with this book and listened to the entire story in 2 days (which is a record for me!!) I literally was sneaking and listening to this book while working and stayed up late past my usual bed time because the story was so addictive. Ugh and the narrator was effin AMAZING!! I really felt I was listening to different people!! Immediately purchased the second book in this series once I completed this one!!

So So Hot!

Wow this was super hot, I loved every minute of it. The book's summary wasn't intriguing enough for me to purchase it, but, I've enjoyed Dohner's other series so I figured I could risk it. I listened in one sitting--I was THAT hooked. If you want a story with a ton of depth, this isn't the one for you, but, if you're open to a bit of fantasy, seriously hot shifter sex, and definitely a lot of sarcasm, innuendo and humor, don't even read the rest of my review--'add to cart' immediately!
