I truly enjoyed the 4 stories
The plots were very good, the action scenes were great. There is mystery danger intrigue and steamy sex scenes.
The characters were well developed with one story flowing into the next with appropriate backstory inserts for the different characters.
My only complaint is that the narrator's voice would get a little too whispery in some places and it, in my opinion, distracted from the characters. Other than that it was a great read that I highly recommend.

A terrific and terrifying book series
I liked the world that the author built. The characters are all complex although less so in the villains. The sometimes years of torture, was difficult to read especially when it involved children and young adults. The romance was always hot.
