About this listen

Dear Anders,

You're cordially invited to stop messing around with my emotions. You had your chance and like a coward, ran away when it got too difficult. Couldn't you handle wanting your best friends, little sister? You didn't want me bad enough?

Like I said - coward.

Well, guess what? You lost your chance and now I'm engaged to someone who isn't you. Thank. God. But I'm going to be the bigger person here - for the sake of my brother - and truly hope you can make the wedding and join in on all of the festivities. I hope you don't choke on the champagne. Or do. Whatever.

Sincerely,

Giselle

The male narrator sounds like a drugged doubt, Southern Californian

I think the story is OK, but the male narrator makes it incredibly difficult to keep listening to the story

Male narrator 🥴

I’m having a hard time finishing this book because the male narrator doesn’t fit the character. 🥴

Meh

Not worth a credit. It was boring but good for background noise since I wasn’t invested. I skipped ahead a lot to know how it ended. Erickson sounded great, Kydd- waffles between ok and wtf is with this voice. His female voice was actually the best. Oddly, I don’t hate his voice. His voice is better for dark romances maybe and he needs to speed it up a bit.

Funny and good narration

The narration for Giselle, Tinley and Marek were much more realistic than in the story of Marek and Tinley. They sound much younger and more like their age.

I Laughed out loud multiple times. I've loved Ander from the first mention of him in the series.

very adolescent

A quarter of the way in, I couldn't take it any more. Giselle is supposed to be about 35, but she has no maturity. She behaves like her whole life is about her feelings for Anders and she had to run off to France to figure out her life?! Then she ghosts everyone she knows while she's gone.
