When two Stanford graduate students set out to create a new kind of cigarette that wouldn’t kill them, they didn’t foresee all the obstacles that lay ahead — or the powerful forces their invention would unleash. Nearly 10 years after the launch of the JUUL, Backfired: The Vaping Wars asks: Could e-cigarettes have been the solution to one of the world’s most pressing public health problems—or was this technology doomed to introduce a whole new generation to nicotine, and end up perpetuating an intractable addiction?

The Truth About Sugar That Everyone Needs To Know
LOWER YOUR BLOOD SUGAR was a good listen especially for me. I like certain sweets and this detox is something I need to do.
What I like about this book is that while it's fairly short, it has what you need to know without a lot of babble along with it. It gets to the point and explains everything in understandable terms. It's simple. Sugar (and fake sugar) is bad for you but this book offers ways to beat the craving or kick the sugar habit long enough to regulate your intake. This was an informative listen by ROBIN FOREST.
EDDIE LEONARD JR. did a great job narrating. He was straightforward, spoke clearly, and placed emphasis where it needed to be. An overall good listen.

Lacking detail about...blood sugar
The book is called lower your blood sugar but all they talked about was sugar consumption. I get there is a connection, but my expectation was it would delve into the science. Not really, like not at all.
The narrator is not particularly skilled. Nice voice but blends words together and can be hard to understand.
