If you want to know how anyone can become a Supreme Court judge, this would be a valuable read. It is an interesting story of her whole life to date, very impressive. Lots and lots of hard work and studying went into this story.

Compelling Story

This was a perfectly paced inside look on the many factors that led to Jackson’s historic appointment and tenure on the Supreme Court. What a truly extraordinary person, family, education and careful stewarding of a career. Helpful for anyone with high aspirations.

Lovely One, A Completely Captivating

KBJ’s life story is a MUST READ. We are lucky to have Katanji Brown Jackson on the Supreme Court. Justice is in good hands.

Such a lovely listen

Justice KBJ has such a soothing voice and is vulnerable and genuine in this books love her sharing part of her story and her family’s story with meaning and context. You get a glimpse in to what made her and her awareness that no one gets anywhere alone. It’s so thoughtfully written. On a side note, you can speed up the audio to 1.4x and it’s still a normal pace. I highly recommend it.

A phenomenal woman

I did not know much about Ketanji Jackson but there is a peace about her that I was compelled to learn more. When I saw the over of her book with a beautiful yellow jacket and a dragonfly pin, I knew I had to listen to her book in her voice and I was not disappointed. The dragonfly represents transformation and Ketanji is a true symbol of transformation. Her essence radiates purpose, peace and transformation. I so enjoyed her story. Her family life, marrying a man of a different race, motherhood being challenged by her neurodivergent daughter who is a great gift and the list goes on and on.
Success is more than position and title. Success is found in knowing who we are at core and Ketanji is all of that.
Well done and thank you for sharing your human life story. May you continue to walk in the shoes of our ancestors and continue to pass the baton by showing up as all of who you are.
