Inspiring read

Dawn Staley wrote a beautiful story about her journey. It’s not salacious, it really is about her remarkable basketball journey. It’s quite amazing looking back at her dedication to the sport when there was not a lot of attention on women in sports. Uncommon favor is a perfect name and a really enjoyable, inspiring read.

Would not have been the same from any other narrator! Wonderful to know her story. Thought I had all the respect for her before but even more so now. Making an absolute icon into such a real person was perfect!

A True Leader

I have been a fan of Dawn Staley for some time now, but this book was an intimate and up close look at her life. After listening to the book, I am more inspired by her leadership.

In my top 5 favorite books of all time!

This book is a must read/listen! I feel that it should be a mandatory read for all young girls, in particular, "Lesson Number 7 - Know Your Worth". I have purchased a copy for both of my grown daughters and just wish this book had been available when they were young. Thank you Dawn Staley for publishing this book and for being the inspiring woman that you are!
