A News Anchor worth remembering
I grew up watching to Connie Chung on TV. I always appreciated her tenacity and ability to give the news to the general public without personal bias. (I wish that was true today--so much of the news is filtered through the newswriters personal lens). I enjoyed Connie's story of her personal life and her public life. Thank you for opening up yourself for "us" to get a glimpse into what you are like as a "regular human". This story also has encouraged me to perhaps write my own story (for my family).

Important women’s history & fun to read
Connie Chung is such a good writer and valuable chronicler of women in media and how hard it has been to get America to give women in media the respect they deserve. Connie meets lots of famous people and does not hold back re: snake pit atmosphere in tv news. Today lots of smart women on tv news. Connie helped change the white boys club.

Great read!
I enjoyed learning more about this pioneer journalist and what she endured to rise the ranks. I also appreciated her mentioning setbacks/firings and “bad press.” Really enjoyed this memoir.

I loved this book!
I am an Asian and have a journalism degree. While I was a young student I was heavily inspired by Connie Chung. She is just as smart, strong, hardworking, and as funny as I thought she would be! I loved listening to her tell me her inspiring story. I was sad when it was over. Thanks Connie Chung!
