Sweet story with characters that come to life

To be honest, it took me a little while to get into this book, but once I did I completely fell for these characters and this little town. Stella with her kitchen aid mixer box of scented cardboard trees and 70 pillows on the bed, Luka with his dancing chicken nugget socks and passion for data analytics, and my personal favorite side character… Beckett with his pocket full of kittens!! These characters were adorably quirky and felt so real.

I wanted to smack Stella upside the head at times for not opening her eyes, but friends to lovers can be a tough time for our lovable characters. The fear of more, no matter how amazing it could be, at the risk of losing what you already have is a scary proposition.

While I would always prefer an audiobook that has a female and male narrator when there are female and male voices, since this is single POV, it totally makes sense to have only a female narrator. This was my first time listening to Pippa Jayne. Her voice was really soothing. When Stella was looking at Luka or thinking about him and Pippa voiced that inner monologue, she really took me into the moment.

Cozy Christmas Read

It was great for my Christmas reading list! Kept me listening and smiling and yelling at the characters at times! It was cute! I’ll probably put this author on more reading lists!

Cute for what it is

Adorable characters and setting. Perfect to get you in the mood for Christmas. Loved it

Great feel good holiday romance

I liked there was substance to the story. The characters were well developed. Good chemistry amongst the leads. Didn’t care for the narrator, her voice seemed too old for Stella.

Slow romance

For me it felt little bit slow. I think this is related to narrator that had very soft voice. Also all those inner monologues of the main character. Story itself was sweet and cute and romantic. Will continue to listen to this series.

Like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket with a cup of cocoa. This book is a repeat for me year over year!

Please read it. It is sweet and cozy and feels like home at Christmas. You won’t regret how it makes you feel!

Such a sweet story!

This was an amazing Christmas time listen, the voice actors were delightful, and the story was Uber romantic and festive! I loved it!

Well written story

As much as I love romance novels I have gotten tired of the poorly written stories I have listened to lately. Lovelight farms was such a nice change. The story is a bit long and a very slow burn as friends to lovers seem to be. Luca is swoon worthy with his kindness and sexy talk. Stella is likable but insecure to trust, of course part of the plot but still I find this character trait in books to be a bit tiresome. Pippa Jayne handled all the character voices. This was a feel good and well written story.

Absolutely Amazing

Borison has done an amazing job with the small town world building and the hardships of long term friendship to lovers aspect of things!

I personally could use a little but more spice but that’s just me. 10/5 stars!
