Lauren Richmond isn’t a fan of Christmas.
Which is why she rarely makes the trip home to the Midwest for the holidays. After all, she has plenty to keep her busy—namely, her duties as a set decorator on a TV sitcom.
But this December, Lauren‘s brother and his wife are expecting a baby, so her brother arranges a ride home for her with his good friend, Will.
Unfortunately for Lauren, she’s been trying to forget college baseball coach and childhood crush Will Sinclair for more than 10 years.
Now, thanks to her fear of flying, she’s stuck in a car with him from California to Illinois.
She’s circumspect and organized. He’s flirty and spontaneous.
She’s convinced that people don’t change. He’s trying to prove to her (and himself) that he has.
On this cross-country road trip, they’ll both discover that history doesn’t exactly repeat itself...but like any good Christmas carol, it does have a second verse.

Noel Blake is not in a great place. After several years of marriage, she and her husband Jonah are quietly drifting apart. The only time they really talk at all anymore is when they walk their dog, Elliott. And even then it usually ends in bickering. When, one snowy day, Elliott manages to slip his leash, they find him blocks away in the care of a mysterious old man who asks them to make a wish on an old snow globe. Eager to get their dog safely home, they agree to his strange request. Neither one realizes that the wish they’re about to make will change the course of their lives.

Kisses only contemporary romcom

Wonderful Story
4.5 rounded up to 5 stars. This was a sweet, slow burn Christmas-themed story. I enjoyed the dynamic between the two MCs and feel like Courtney Walsh captured perfectly the fear of letting yourself be vulnerable with another person. I loved the theme of second chances and showing grace as well.
Finally, the actors that read this story did fantastic! I thought they captured the emotion of the story well and were very articulate. I would recommend!

A fantastically fun romance with real heart
This is rom-com at its best. Walsh delivers tear-inducing laughs, swoon-worthy romance, heart-squeezing grit, and moments that make you go "awwww." This story absolutely checks all the right boxes without being predictable. I love it and highly recommend it!

Lovely Christmas Story
This was such a sweet Christmas story. I loved the characters and enjoyed their journey together. As the book progressed, I found myself looking forward to the next stop on their journey back home. This book made me smile, laugh and even shed a tear.

Lovely!
First book I’ve read from this author but will not be my last. Love her way of reading a story and unfolding the details in such a way that puts you right there. Clean but full of passion and chemistry. The narrators do an excellent job of bringing the story to life!

Family, true love and self reflection
