Publisher's summary

Cowritten by #1 New York Times bestselling author Julie Murphy and USA Today bestselling author Sierra Simone—a steamy plus-size holiday rom-com about an adult film star who is semi-accidentally cast as a lead in a family-friendly Christmas movie, and the former bad-boy pop star she falls in love with.

Bee Hobbes (aka Bianca Von Honey) has a successful career as a plus-size adult film star. With a huge following and two supportive moms, Bee couldn’t ask for more. But when Bee’s favorite producer casts her to star in a Christmas movie he’s making for the squeaky-clean Hope Channel, Bee’s career is about to take a more family-friendly direction.

Forced to keep her work as Bianca under wraps, Bee quickly learns this is a task a lot easier said than done. Though it all becomes worthwhile when she discovers her co-star is none other than childhood crush Nolan Shaw, an ex-boy band member in desperate need of career rehab. Nolan’s promised his bulldog manager to keep it zipped up on set, and he will if it means he’ll be able to provide a more stable living situation for his sister and mom.

But things heat up quickly in Christmas Notch, Vermont, when Nolan recognizes his new co-star from her ClosedDoors account (oh yeah, he’s a member). Now Bee and Nolan are sneaking off for quickies on set, keeping their new relationship a secret from the Hope Channel’s execs. Things only get trickier when the reporter who torpedoed Nolan’s singing career comes snooping around—and takes an instant interest in mysterious newcomer Bee.

And if Bee and Nolan can’t keep their off-camera romance behind the scenes, then this merry little meet cute might end up on the cutting room floor.

Spicy Holiday Fun

Cute, funny and plenty of sex scenes (but not horribly graphic in my opinion). Perfect for our book club for December. Took one star off because there’s no depth at all to the story; I like fluff fun reads sometimes but still prefer some sort of deeper meaning to be had.
If you’re shy about sex do not recommend.

BEST HOLIDAY SPICE EVER!

I loved absolutely everything about this book. It's smart, funny, thoughtful, feminist, sex-positive, and heartfelt. Every character, except for one obvious exception, is lovable. It is also sizzling cinnamon red-hot spicy🔥🔥. All I want for Christmas is a sequel!

It was okay.

I feel like the male narrator was a little monotone, and there wasn’t a whole lot of emotion in the book. The spice was OK but just wasnt the book for me.

Laugh out loud spice comedy

This was not what I expected but the story of Nolan and Bea was great. A former boy band trying to make a comeback gets casted with the porn star of his dreams making a wholesome Christmas movie. SMH. UNBELIEVABLE. But that is why it is called fiction. I got some good laughs and steamy moments so it fit the romantic comedy build.

I laughed so hard I peed my pants

This story line has me thinking about all my favorite romcom movies but with only the best parts of them all mixed up together. I wasn’t so sure about this read when reading the first chapter from Teddy POV but when you get to the good stuff of Nolan and Bee watch out for the most hilariously hot romance/spice. The story is cute and funny. Two people looking for a fresh new start but also find themselves with their ultimate wet dream personified. If you love a good Christmas Hallmark story and a little holiday spice with humor this is your holiday book.

Cute but R/rated

This was a sweet fun slightly quirky Christmas story. I loved the healthy body image discussions, and the strong female lead. I was not ready for the detail of the intimate scenes and the surprising language so just a heads up for anyone that thought this was a little more innocent title.

This one was a fun one

This was a fun book to listen to. I have been going through some tough times lately and this listen helped get through it. The female narrator did a great job with this one, however, I have been having a hard time with the male narrator all throughout. I enjoyed this read.

It was alright

I loved the idea of this book more than the execution. (This is becoming a recurring theme with my latest reads.)
Both Mcs were bi, which was cool. And I enjoyed reading the dynamics between the minor characters who were all quirky/entertaining. I did also enjoy some of Nolan and Bee’s interactions, and enjoyed that they were each others’ fangirls. But the overall story was just alright. It was very easy to put down and not come back to for days at a time. (I did really enjoy the confusion surrounding the person who causes the main conflict.)
I enjoyed both narrators though the woman voicing Bee did take a little while to grow on me.
