Break The Cycle of Pain and Guilt Today With a New Understanding of Pet Loss Grief
Feeling lost without your soul pet? Is your heart shattered by their passing, whether it was completely unexpected or the natural result of old age? Are you feeling alone in this grief, asking yourself when the pain will end?
“Losing a Pet—A Book of Grief & Recovery” is your guide to peace and understanding.
While grief is a normal, healthy response to losing a beloved pet, it is important to work through its various stages and eventually find a way to move forward.
Understanding the depth of your bond and learning to celebrate rather than mourn your years together helps memorialize your pet. It also equips you with perspective and the capacity to love again.
This book is your compassionate and comforting guide throughout the healing process—an understanding companion as you explore the depths of your grief. The journey to peace and recovery starts here.
Emily Newcombe thought her world had ended when she lost both of her Fur-Babies within weeks of each other, but rather than allowing the pain to cripple her, she dedicated herself to researching and understanding the truth about pet grief.
In this book, she provides a blueprint for breaking out of the endless loop of sorrow and guilt.
Drawing on her own experiences–as well as those of others like her–she guides you through the mourning process while simultaneously acknowledging and memorializing the love you shared with your pet.
You'll discover:
- Powerful Strategies for Identifying and Mastering Your Grief
- Revealing the Profound Connection Between Humans and their Soul Pets
- 8 Impactful Methods to Commemorate the Enduring Legacy of Your Fur-Baby
- Valuable Recovery Approaches to Various Pet Loss Experiences
- Effective Approaches to Integrate a New Pet into Your Life, Liberated from Guilt
- Recommended Support Systems to Propel You Through Your Transformative Healing Journey

Communications from beloved pets are seen by thousands every day. Some messages are given in ways that require an acute awareness and more interpretation as well. From the heavens above, signs are given by deceased pets to connect with their families they left behind. Oftentimes, the gifts they share are unseen or are difficult to identify. Learning to speak the language of spirit requires practice, but once identified, the joy of hearing from your pet in spirit can bring great comfort.

Story
Communications from beloved pets are seen by thousands every day. Some messages are given in ways that require an acute awareness and more interpretation as well. From the heavens above, signs are given by deceased pets to connect with their families they left behind. Oftentimes, the gifts they share are unseen or are difficult to identify. Learning to speak the language of spirit requires practice, but once identified, the joy of hearing from your pet in spirit can bring great comfort.

Story
The Book of Pet Love and Loss is a collection of quotations—poignant thoughts and memories discovered in letters, journals, diaries, memoirs, and other original sources—from beloved cultural figures who understood this singular experience so deeply, they felt compelled to write about it. This book dignifies the profound connection we share with our animal companions, but it also provides solace as mourners document their heartache over the loss of their cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and other animals—even, in the case of Pablo Neruda, a mongoose.

Story
When a loved one dies, the pain of loss can feel unbearable—especially in the case of a traumatizing death that leaves us shouting, “NO!” with every fiber of our body. The process of grieving can feel wild and nonlinear—and often lasts for much longer than other people, the nonbereaved, tell us it should. Organized into fifty-two short chapters, Bearing the Unbearable is a companion for life’s most difficult times, revealing how grief can open our hearts to connection, compassion, and the very essence of our shared humanity.

A guidance book
After losing my precious pet to sickness, this book was like having a caring buddy by my side, getting what I was going through and giving me a hand to hold onto. The tips for coping made me feel like I wasn't the only one dealing with this. Listening through its chapters, I found ways to deal with the hurt, and surprisingly, some moments of happiness too, showing me I'm not in this alone. Basically, it reminds us that even though the ache might stick around, we can still cherish the memories of our furry friends and find some peace in their love that lasts forever.
