About this listen

Each book follows a different military hero with a standalone, complete story.

Leigh Denton has made her share of mistakes, but the judgmental residents of Quickdraw, Texas, will never allow her to forget. Drugs and a history of criminal activity checker her traumatic past. Now she's cleaned up her act and fighting to regain custody of her infant. Having a relationship isn't part of her plan.

Ian MacArthur is an eagle shifter and Air Force veteran with a big heart. His work takes him around the world, but R&R brings him back home to a town where rising drug problems are taking over the community. Falling in love with a lost soul named Leigh wasn't part of his plan.

Leigh needs to prove she can provide a steady home, driving financially secure Ian to lend his money and his name to help. There's just one problem: eagles mate for life, and soaring to her rescue will cost more than he's able to give.

Good narrations!

contemporary-romance, shifters, exmilitary

Moving shifter romance with a lot of positive characteristics. She tries to put past mistakes and vicious people out of her life and regain custody of her baby daughter. His life is on track but wants to have a family, and from the first time he sees her he knows that she is his mate. It all goes on from there and is worth your time.
Got the audio on the cheap, and I really liked the way that the narrators alternated.

Let us Prey

I received this for a honest review. I think the authors did a wonderful job picking out the narrators. Shoshana Franck and Samuel Bowden did an amazing job. As you listen to the story you got pulled right in.

I don’t think I could choose between the 1st book in the series and this one. Both are just awesome. Each book has parts in it that I find dear to my heart. I just love shifter books and Vivienne Savage work. She is an amazing author. She is an author that really cares if her readers really enjoy her books and has a talent to pull you right into her books. Once you start reading this book you will not want to put it down. I love how she started this book. The title being “Let Us Prey” and starting it in a church service. Awesome.

Ian MacArthur who is an eagle shifter and is a retired Air Force Colonel and acting leader of a special squad operator. At his age he has to be wondering if he will ever find his mate. While sitting in a church service he sees her, his future mate Leigh Denton.

Ian has to wonder why fate would chose her as his future mate. Leigh has so many things going on in her life. She has a criminal record, drugs, alcohol, and lost custody of her baby. But there is something about Leigh. Not only is she this beautiful plus size woman, but there is something about her that Ian wants to give her a second chance.

Leigh has trust issues. The last thing she wants is a man in her life. The one thing she wants is to get her child back. Leigh not only has to fight the community about her past but the court system seems to not want to give her a fair chance. Will things every start to look up for Leigh? Can people learn to let the past be the past? Will Ian be able to win Leigh’s heart? Will Leigh be able to except Ian’s secret of being a shifter.

There is so many great parts in this book. trust me if you like shifter books you will love this one. It is one outstanding book. Great job Vivienne Savage.

Fun characters fully fleshed out and a good story line.

Leigh made mistakes in her life that caused her baby to be taken from her by the father's parents. She meets eagle shifter Ian accidentally and he decides she's the one for him. He wants to get her out of her unsafe neighborhood. He is also determined to help her get her baby back.

A Great Read!!

Another great story, a couple of Misfits (if you will) that are brought together by the powers that be.

Eagle shifter, and now retired Air Force Colonel Ian McAuthor meets Leigh, a human girl down on her luck. She paying for past discretions and suffering daily without her newborn daughter. Her daughter was taken from her, and now she is in for a big fight to get her back.

Everyone looks down on this poor girl. Everyone, except Ian. When he first sees her, sitting in a pew at church, he's captivated by her, drawn to her even. (See you can find someone to love, where ever fate sees it fit)

As their new friendship and working relationship grow, the willingness and love inside of Ian grows for her as well. It's a mating that needs to move slowly. One step at a time, in one way or another Ian inserts himself into her life, and it starts to make her future look brighter.

Once she's able to get her daughter back, the road to happiness and a future with a man that accepts her for who she is, past and all... but the darkness of their worlds threaten to make things go from bad to worse in a heart beat.

Now it's a race against time and unknown threats to be able to keep his new, growing family safe.

Surprising interesting love story (both anglo)

This is the 2nd story of the group of military members that were shifters. The 1st story was of a bear shifter male (widower) falling for a female latina (domestic abuse survivior) This story is about his buddy a eagle shifter Male (with a grandfather that was native american and a grandmother that was bi racial of white & black) The lead female had a past of pill addiction and lost her child due to it along with abusive drug dealer boyfriend ( black american) that was doing time for petty crimes. The main character senses that the female is his true mate and needs help getting on her feet & getting her child back. This story was SUEPRISING engaging. Drama, action and suspense. Plus the mystery of how and why the town is so filled with crime. This story was DIVERSE different skin colors, cultures & races mentioned.. Worth a credit or buy. YES! Hope there is a 3 book in audible version. Great job writting.

Her eagle. was more than a symbol I

The second book is as good as the first in the series which made me get the rest of the series. He was a military hero, town benefactor, and hot. she was the bad girl with a history that cost her custody of her baby. He saw beyond the reputation and helped instead other she was more to man and shifter she was yet to learn..

More, there was a big problem in the town that would call for the team to work on together. will they find their? Will. danger keep them from making a family?

I enjoyed listening to the audio and have my voice of ebook or audio. I strongly recommend the book and series and eat book can stand alone with a complete story yet an under lying problem
