About this listen

Voted Most Likely to Succeed, Melanie Bartlett ended up anything but. The down-on-her-luck single mom wants a complete do-over - is that too much to ask? With her family long gone from River Bend, strong, independent Mel is as surprised as anyone to end up in the quaint small town she once called home. But with her friends, Jo and Zoe, by her side, and a comfortable room at Miss Gina's quirky bed-and-breakfast, she just might have turned the corner on a new life.

Wyatt Gibson never liked the big city. River Bend suits the ruggedly handsome builder just fine. Wyatt knows he's home, even if that means being charmed by the appearance of Melanie and her spunky, adorable daughter. Is Wyatt's calm devotion - even amid a coming storm - enough to convince Mel she may have found a home to call her own, a family that never leaves, and a true love to last a lifetime?

Cute story

A tiny bit predictable but still written well & preformed excellently. Very enjoyable listen. I would definitely recommend this author & narrator.

Loved It

What made the experience of listening to Doing It Over the most enjoyable?

I loved the story but the Narrator was awesome. The voice of the little girl was perfect.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hope was my favorite.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scene when Wyatt's dad brought the dog but I also loved the first part when Wyatt pulled over to help Melanie and she called him Jack. Jack the Ripper

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I didn't expect to be so scared and worried about what was going to happen.

Any additional comments?

I really hope the same narrator does all the books in series.

Doing it over

I really liked this book.It is a modern story about
friendships, love and parenting. It is believable with several of today's social problems. I like Miss Eby as an author and as a story teller. The characters are believable, and fun.

I loved the story line

this was my FIRST ever audio book. I struggled with the voice. I thought my head would do it better as an avid reader. but the longer I listened the easier it became. it's a good listen. and I loved the WHOLE thing. when there was suspense the reader and the author did well pulling at those emotions. The "hot and heavy" scenes we're subpar. But I recently finished the Fifty Shades of Grey series and have some high expectations as of right now.
