Great story!

I have always enjoyed this author. I think I may have read all of her books!
This book was suspenseful, scary at times, and had an unpredictable end to the villain's life.
Wonderful! I enjoyed it all!

Excellent story and narrator

I have only read a couple Catherine Anderson books but this one made me a fan. The story was written so we'll about characters developed so we'll you could not help but care about them. The subject matter waabjeavy but written about with such care, accuracy, and honesty. I loved the narrators style. I enjoyed that there were not a bunch of cheesy voices that sounded fake in her repotoiree. She kept a good pace and was easy to listen to.

I would recommend this book for sure and plan to listen to book two because this one was so very good.

Scared Desperation turns to Loving Security

I love a good story where the hero(ine) not only has to overcome the obstacles that life has put in their way, but also the obstacles that they have put in their own way. Overcoming ones own fears is often the most difficult part of any situation. But finding someone and learning how to lean on them, trust them, and love them is so satisfying. That is what this story is all about. How not only Mandy, but Chloe, Mandy's young daughter also learns to trust in Jeb and the protection and love he offers. This is a wonderfully sweet story of fear and struggle and finding a happily ever after.

Heartbreakingly Beautiful

Really heartwrenching dramatic story. Read with feeling. I laughed cried and swooned. Catherine Anderson never fails in the real she puts into her stories.

Excellent Story

Catherine Anderson is such an excellent writer. Her writing is true and refreshing and so believable. She is one of my most favorite writers. Any books she write are quickly added to my library!

Catherine Anderson Never Fails! An Amazing Story!

When I go to the book store, I always check for a new Catherine Anderson book before I look at anything else. I've got all my friends and family hooked as well. She's never disappointed us. She does get homework before starting a book and you can tell.

Great Listen!

This was a good story. not as much suspense as I would of liked but it kept me entertained throughout and the love story was cute.

A fairytale romance!

What I liked most about this was the fairytale theme of it. I know some readers may want more realistic, but every once in a while I do love to read about a hero that comes in and saves the day. That's what you get with Jeb. He takes in a destitute mother, offers her shelter, the means to get away from her abusive husband, a job and woos her into falling in love with him. It's dreamy and unrealistic but it made me happy.
