The deceased novice, adorned only with an azabache amulet, bears the sinister signature of Bravo's old nemesis, Mother Pitia. But why target this innocent angel, and where is the elusive mother superior hiding? As Bravo unravels the mystery, he faces an evil that threatens not only his life but the very fabric of his island home.

Caught in the shifting sands of political upheaval in the Caribbean of the 1900s, Bravo must navigate a treacherous landscape, battling colonial authorities and a fanatical cult driven by the deranged Mother Pitia. Yet, as he confronts external foes, a storm brews within his own household, where a family secret tests the bonds of loyalty.

In a race against time, Bravo must marshal his allies, evade capture, and confront the monster that lurks in the shadows. Will he destroy his enemy, or will Mother Pitia’s insidious plans plunge the island into darkness forever?
