Didn’t want to put it down.

I really enjoy this first in the series of stories. Nice narration. Enjoyed her voice.

history lovers delight

great story. going to get next one! the narrator could have been btr though.

A lot of information!

I thoroughly enjoyed the story but there were a lot of different plots going on with a lot of information. If you don't mind a bit of a history lesson that doesn't have much to do with the main character, then you will enjoy this book.

A New Favorite

The writing was clever and carefully researched, which I greatly appreciated. The main character is someone I could personally get behind and be a cheerleader for. And, it was pretty clean - which was such a happy surprise!

10/10 to the author!

my ONLY complaint has to be that the performance was lacking somewhat. Every American sounded monotonous and odd.

I loved it I love good historical novels particularly mysteries this book was great a book about a woman of great courage for her time willing to be different

A wonderful experience

Well written, enjoyable characters, and a good combination of drama and suspense. Voice acting was great!

Awful Reader

I really wanted to hear this story but absolutely cannot stand the reader. Too slow and monotonous intonation. Even speeding up the recording could not make it tolerable.

Very dull

Couldn’t even get through half the book after trying several times. Too slow and not very engaging
