About this listen

He liked fast and loose—she was sweet and innocent.

Firefighter Brice Lancaster lived his life by a set of rules: No commitments, no attachments, no promises. Three rules that were easy to follow—rules that kept his heart safe, rules that should’ve kept his best friend’s cousin out of his bed. So what was it about Quinn that made him lose his mind? Maybe it was her shiny midnight hair that made him forget he hated attachments. Or her emerald eyes that made him want to promise her the world. Or her sexy smile that made him insane with lust and the need to claim her innocence and keep her.

Quinn Walker didn’t believe in boundaries—never had. She’d spent her life bouncing from one thing to the next—the wild child of the group. So when Quinn moves in next door to the man she’s crushed on for years, she knew she was in trouble. Big, strong, tatted, sexy firefighter trouble. Or maybe it was Brice that was in trouble because Quinn wasn’t going to let this golden opportunity slip through her fingers.

No wasn't an option. It was supposed to be just fun. They’d agreed on no strings. Blinded by lust, they both gave in. Brice broke his rules. Quinn let herself fall in love.

Then, in a cruel twist of fate, everything went up in smoke. Will one of them be strong enough to be honest—or was it all just a game?

Who knew I'd love Brice so much?

Who knew I'd love Brice so much? Who knew that sweet, alpha protector was hiding underneath that play boy facade? Oh yea, it's Riley Edwards so it's a given! But in all seriousness this story has everything I love. Two strong people, an alpha protector who sees and loves his woman's stubbornness and strength...action, suspense, twists and turns...and an happily ever after ending after both stubborn people get over themselves and let true love win. And love seeing everyone else in the family. Narration brings it to life bringing the emotion out even more.

I’m loving this series!

This is such a great series! Don’t let the short lengths discourage you. There is depth of story and characters, action and adventure and s3xy times too!

The writing style is good - very good! No cheesy or immature dialogue in these books at all.

The narrators are great and I’d listen to more by them as well.

I’m definitely going on in this series (these are not cliffys though!)

Awesome 5 Star Listen

I absolutely loved every single book! Each so individual and intense and flows so smoothly into each story without being a fluffy. I love that. Yet you are left with enough of the next episode to continue.
The narrators are superb. I enjoy the 6-7 hr length. Not one episode was boring or too short. I couldn’t put it done. One of the best series I’ve listened to. Worth every credit. Enjoy the 7 Great Audios. Best Actors♥️

Very good!!!

This is another very entertaining suspense, action, romance book in this series. I love the way Riley Edwards lays out and unfolds the story. The story and the characters are so deep and rich. Sometimes it is magnificent. I get tired of the steamy scenes, but I easily skip those. The performance is top notch, very good!

Good read/listen

but the use of "My woman" was used far too much, it became annoying. Your fiancée has a name use it occasionally. But perhaps thats just me. But good story line
