Lexi and Jake have a ticket worth millions. And their friends are determined to claim a share.

Great story, very relatable. I very much enjoyed the narration, sometimes that can ruin an audible book. I found I couldn’t put this book down!

Great Read

A good story line and a lot of truth to the matter. Just a bit long and drawn out and repetitive.

I think everyone fantasizes about winning the lottery. This tale will have you re-thinking the benefits of a win. Great twists and turns right up to the end. Loved it!

Outstanding!

I couldn't stop listening, felt the pain, the discomfort, and the love. Exposed the weakness and frailty of human morals, character, pride, vulnerability.

And, just when I think it is over, it isn't. Quite a twist at the very end.

Excellent.

Mesmerizing...

I mean on one hand, it kept me listening to the end, so there’s that. The premise of the book is really good and I loved the twists and turns. The problem is, none of the characters were that likeable. Presumably the author intended for us to like and side with Lexi, but Lexi was mousy, a pushover, had no backbone, and was one dimensional. I didn’t think the last scene was very believable, and it took away from the overall story. I think it was too long, and there was too much endless internal dialog, especially the parts from Emily’s point of view. Still, it wasn’t a total flop and I WAS entertained, despite the boring bits. It’s always interesting to see how people react to winning lots of money. This book doesn’t leave much hope for humanity, though. Everyone was greedy and shallow.

Mixed feelings about this one

I did listen to the end, but at times I found myself bored I felt there was poor character development, and sometimes the story with a properly shift. It is not a book I would tell people they must read.

It was OK, but not good

This is a great story and had me hooked immediately. I was disappointed and irritated though that parts were not grammatically correct, for example, ‘she was sat at the table’ instead of ‘she was sitting at the table’; ‘he was stood by the door’ instead of ‘he was standing by the door’. It spoiled it a bit for me because I believe in good grammar, especially from an author.

Great story

Captivating and keeps me on the edge of my seat. The story is really good , with delightful characters.
