As James quickly discovers, the roots of corruption run deep. Guilds choose to protect themselves rather than the people. Monsters roam the wilderness unchecked. Judgment is usually a decision between right and wrong, but nothing is ever that simple. This time, being the strongest human won't be enough to punish the guilty. James might have to recruit some new blood, even if he prefers to work alone.

On his twentieth world, he is going to win, no matter the cost. James will have to find a way to break past the limits of the system if he's going to have a chance at making a difference.

This was fun ...very likeable MC

They did a good job with this one ...I highly recommend giving it a try.

The book started good, but the ending was so so

The story was actually pretty good throughout most of it, but when it came to the end, it was so packed with clichés and predictable events that you almost could just as easily skip it. Clichés One of the villains fall down a hole and they assume he dies (only to most likely have him come back more powerful later). Clichés two main character needs more power to overcome his enemies so he absorbed it and becomes contaminated. (i’m sure we will be seeing more issues with this in upcoming books). But even with all of this, it still was a good book. I just hope in future books we get to see more creativity and less following the clichés crowd.

Breath of Fresh Air

This was a short but fun ride. There is a same voice going on with the narrator but his voice fits the main character.

Genuinely surprised

I wasn’t expecting much from this title, but I enjoyed it all the same. The narrator did a great job as well

A Great start to a series.

this one was quite enjoyable, I really like the OP main character. The main character was OP but still showed signs of weakness throughout the story. this was a very good book that I highly recommend.

Neil helliger's is one of the best narrators in the business and this was one of his better works.

Great sotry

I thought I would try out this author and I am glad that I did. The storytelling is similar to Eric Uglands writing with less humor and language. I found myself enjoying the adventures of James and I can't wait to see what awaits his future.

The Magnificent Seven Minus 6

Michael Head is an excellent writer as he continued to demonstrate with Book 1 of this series. The MC is OP'd which we learn through introspection at various battle encounters that it is due to his involuntary inter-dimensional world travels to make right the injustices found where he's sent. Essentially, he's a one-man wrecking crew, an ultimate judge, jury and punisher for those who have caused evil to spread. His temperament is somewhere between that of a "Hanging Judge" and an intolerant tough-love vindicator of justice toward those who have callously used their position of power to harm ordinary folks. It's somewhat unclear if his jaded tendency is inherent in his personality or has been acquired through being forced to adjudicate previous worlds. The author does a good job to mix some humor in with the bloody battle encounters.

Neil Hellegers performance is, well, fantastic, of course.

my only issue is mc wasnt op enough I was hoping for and expecting a nigh godlike being who could swat entire planets into dust. will keep listening in hopes that every bad person gets killed. but really looking for a story with no stakes and a mc who obliterates any and all opposition.

Really enjoyable story

This was a really enjoyable story, and I can't wait for the next one to come out. The narration was great, no obvious flaws, and the story was compelling.

Plot:
Isekai guy who is maxed level is sent to his 20th planet to save as a 'Judge' despite being maxed level the problems of this world are far worse than any he has faced thus far, and he needs to find out what needs to be fixed in order to move on.

A nice blend of Sliders, meets Quantum Leap, meets One Punch Man. Overall really great story that sets the stage for an interesting series. Can't wait for future books.

I enjoyed this

First and foremost I really did enjoy this book. The only thing I will say is at Parts it felt a little disjointed with the memories and adding things that were not talked about at the time it's not a big deal but for instance the playing around with the slap skill it never talked about the MC playing around with it yet in the Lich fight he said he played around with it in his free time. Just a little disjointed but other than that great story can't wait for the next book.
