Pretty good for a stand alone

The power vamp at the end got a little out there, but I enjoyed the story and the main character. Great great job by the narrator.

I feel like the writer decided against writing a series in the last 10 chapters.

Interesting Idea

It was interesting idea that started off fairly slow but suddenly began hurtling to a conclusion. Parker is fairly condescending and makes a lot of selfish decisions for no reason really. Jerome isn't exactly dumb but more used to have exposition. A good chunk of time is wasted on the error messages but kudos on her actually reading them out in style. Entertaining enough to listen to when you need something to listen to but not something you need to put on the top of you must read list

All of the crunch

I tend to enjoy the crunchy stats LitRPG books, but this book is 90% crunch and the rest is all just the MC "system" floundering and not knowing what to do.

The world is painfully gamified, but the narrator is great.
