Good start

Pretty decent. I will likely get the next, but I’m thinking it’s going to be constantly new characters.

Definitely worth the credit

I am a fan of the Melody of Magic series and because we met future Justin in it and he was kind of a depressed deadbeat I was not sure about this book. With that said it was good, and as I said in the title definitely worth the credit.

An interesting story

This was a nice listen. I like the narrator and he doesn't detract from the story. I only have a problem with the last 20-30% of the book. The whole boy/man mentality comes out weird and odd times. Dude should know how to argue using logic or at least get people to understand his viewpoint. I look forward to the next book!

Very fun listen

Good story about a guy from our world waking up as someone else in a new world and bringing our tech to it. Highly recommend you pick it up.

Great book

Another great series from one of my favourite offer. I really love that. We are following around Justin a wizard this time, but it is also a bit weird that I know what will happen in the end because of their history lessons in the other series.. I would still advocate for the offer to create a discord or Patreon I think would be a great idea for fans to follow more closely

This is VERY great! finished it in 2 days as well as the second book! It all makes much more sense for the memory parts than other books and TV shows! Very interesting and just over all great!

Stone age to... ?

How far could one mordern man push society forward if transported back in time? That's a question we all are familiar with, and in this book we see just this play out but with some aid of magic and on a planet where elf's are the dominant sapiant race. The book was so good I listened to it cover to cover in one day!

Best Spin-off Story I've Read in a Long Time

Usually, spin-offs tend to lack the magic of the original. But this one keeps everything I liked from melody of mana, the world building, close personal character focus, and of course an earnest love for the world and it's magic. Meanwhile, we get to see Justin, a mysterious character even after we meet him in MoM, slowly get fleshed out. We see the parts of him in embryo that we know will lead down to such terrible places, but start off so positives. Like his desire to help his people technologically, trying to subtly nudge them down a path he approves of. At several points he even contemplates forcing changes onto society like the end of slavery. In the end, I was left feeling like I couldn’t wait to see where his character goes, and what happens to the world when he's truly and irrevocably challenged.
