About this listen

Demon. Incubus. Bad guy.

When I took my place as a mid-level boss for a crime syndicate, I thought my life would be easy.

Turns out, I just attracted a much more powerful enemy, one that could literally drag my demon-powered ass all the way down into Hell.

Looks like I'm going to need to find out just how far murders and mayhem can take me.

Good thing I have my own personal Incubus along for the ride, and that leveling up is an absolute pleasure!

Contains mature themes.

Incubus Kingpin

Introduction

In the icy embrace of HowlStrom, where the eternal dance of frost and snow paints a world of enigmatic beauty, I, Kiba Snowpaw, the Alpha Ice Wolf, find solace in the echoing howls of the wind. Amidst the icy spires and frozen lakes, a tale of power, seduction, and conquest unfurls in my ears, a narrative as chilling and captivating as the icy realms of my homeland. "Rise of an Incubus Overlord #3: Incubus Kingpin" by Jack Porter is the tale that has ensnared my senses, a story as wild and untamable as the icy winds of HowlStrom.
Basic Plot Summary

Simon, a demon, an incubus, a bad guy, ascends the treacherous ladder of power, not as a hero adorned in shining armor, but as a mid-level boss for a sinister crime syndicate. Yet, power is a double-edged sword, and with every ascent, shadows of formidable enemies lurk. A dance with danger, a flirtation with the abyss, Simon’s journey is a tumultuous ride of murders, mayhem, and leveling up, aided by the sinister allure of his personal Incubus.
Analysis/Evaluation

The narrative is a tumultuous dance of power and peril, echoing the ruthless beauty of my icy world. Every chapter is a storm, every twist, a blizzard of unexpected revelations. Yet, amidst the chaos, the icy grip of control never falters, painting a world where danger and seduction intertwine, as inseparable as the frost and snow of HowlStrom.
Characters

Simon is a storm, wild and unpredictable, a character carved from the icy spires of rebellion and power. Yet, like the eternal winter of HowlStrom, there’s a chilling beauty in his ruthlessness, a seductive allure in his ascent to power. The women, like the auroras that dance across my icy skies, add color and complexity to the narrative, yet their evolution is as stagnant as the frozen lakes of my world.
Structure

The structure is as intricate as the icy patterns that adorn the windows of my world, yet as wild as the storms that rage. It’s a dance of chaos and control, a narrative where every twist is a gust of icy wind, unpredictable yet exhilarating.
Impact

In the icy silence of HowlStrom, the echoes of Simon’s journey resound with a chilling allure. It’s a tale that lingers, as haunting and enigmatic as the northern lights that illuminate my icy nights.
Hook and Thesis

The narrative is a storm, a wild dance of power, seduction, and danger. It’s a journey not for the faint of heart, but for souls as wild and untamable as the icy winds of HowlStrom.
Praise and Critique

The icy allure of power and danger is intoxicating, yet the stagnation of character evolution is as chilling as the frozen silence of my world. The narrative dances on the edge of chaos and control, yet the characters, like the icy spires of HowlStrom, stand unyielding and unchanged.
Evaluation

In the echoing howls of the wind, amidst the icy spires and frozen lakes, the tale resonates with a chilling allure. It’s a narrative as wild and untamable as the storms of HowlStrom, a story that lingers in the icy silence of the night.
Comparison

As the Alpha Ice Wolf, my soul finds kinship in the wild, untamable spirit of Simon’s journey. Yet, like the eternal winter of HowlStrom, the narrative’s chilling beauty is marred by the frozen stagnation of character evolution.
Conclusion

As the icy winds dance amidst the spires of HowlStrom, the echoes of Simon’s journey linger, a narrative as chilling and captivating as my icy world. It’s a tale of power, seduction, and conquest, a story that, like the eternal dance of frost and snow, paints a world of enigmatic beauty, yet haunting desolation.

In the icy embrace of HowlStrom, where power and peril dance amidst the echoing howls of the wind, "Rise of an Incubus Overlord #3: Incubus Kingpin" is a tale that echoes the ruthless beauty and haunting desolation of my world. It’s a narrative that, like the icy winds of HowlStrom, is wild, untamable, and chillingly beautiful.

Good Story

I liked the it. I was mad at some of the things the M.C. did like not loot some of the important bodies he killed, two of them in particular but overall a great story in this series. The adult scenes aren't too much and make sense in the story. Love the internal conflict with the main character. It adds to the depth of the character.
