Wonderful and heartfelt Explanation of a Near Death Experience

It is obvious the Junger did a Great deal of research- I especially enjoyed his discussions on Quantum Physics.

Such a balance

this was beautiful and written in a balanced way between the two unknowns...religious and scientific views. Still resonating days later

Beautiful, haunting, and thoughtful.

While I reach different conclusions than the Junger, who is an atheist, his book does not flinch from asking questions about transcendence and metaphysics.

Mesmerizing exploration of consciousness, physics, medicine

I was enchanted by the mixture of almost hallucinogenic narrative, combined with stark detailed analysis of physics, Medicine, the personal journey of nearly dying. I’m not a big reader of nonfiction, but I couldn’t put it down.

Willing to not know

Sincerity humility. Willing to talk about quantum physics to the unschooled. Sharing other people’s experiences.

Fascinating but missing “Freedom”

Well structured and well written, another gem from SJ. I liked the way he laced stories together.

Sebastian Junger is an incredible writer and storyteller. This four hours + will change your perspective on life, death, the universe, science, faith and your ability to understand quantum physics. Just listen to it (and you will see.)

We are all headed towards death. I happened to share in Junger's view of things and believe near death experiences can be explained by science.

I saw the author on a news program talking about this book and I immediately wanted to read it. It's an interesting topic and he dives in deep with fascinating details and information.
