About this listen

**Thank you everyone for the auditions, but this is currently under negotiations.** Chase Winters was the bane of my existence.

But he was also the lifeline of my heart and soul. Literally.

Things are steaming up between us, and between the sheets. When his lips weren't locked with mine, they were spewing verbal crap. Half the time I don't know whether to kiss him or slap him. Our bond was more than just being connected, we are soulbound. The closer we get, the stronger the bond takes hold and now-a-days it seemed we are inseparable.

There was a new addition to our little town, one that has all the Divisa's on guard – a hunter has taken up residency. This hunter was not just another threat, not when their identity hit a little close to home. Strife divides my neighbor's household surrounding this supposed enemy. Could they be friend or foe?

Chase's number one priority in all this as always, was to keep me safe.

Regardless of what Chase says, I am not the weak and fragile human they all think I am. And there was nothing I wouldn't do to keep Chase from harm. He might drive me up a freaking wall, but he was my pain in the ass. I wasn't about to sit back and let some hunter fire an arrow through his heart. Not if I could help it.

Then there was the one question that was on everyone's mind: Will the hunter kill us or save us…

Seriously with the narration??

Whoever thought it would be a good idea to change over to a valley girl narrator should be fired. If it wasn’t for the Love between Chase and Angel, I would have returned it immediately. It also took FOREVER for them to talk about their feelings which was annoying. But when things are good, they are REALLY good!!!

Good enough

Not something I’m going talk about To others as it hasn’t moved my heart to staying up till odd times to listen however it was consistently good enough to keep Me Interested and finished in a timely manner. Still unsure if I will read the next book. The strong love-hate feels like emotional whiplash and gets exhausting at times.

it's Mope not Mopped

the only reason i didnt give up on this audible was cuz I wanted to see how the story continued. I know that teenagers are whiny but not all the time! the narrator's voice grated most of the time - all of the characters were whiny, nasally, and annoying. the narrator of the first book was better...

I love to listen to the different characters from the book. It brings the book to life.

Very good

I am totally hooked on chase, but let's be real.... The lack of sex at this point is unbelievable. The Emma surprise was unexpected !

Nasal Narrator

I do not like the narrator at all. Annoying when she goes into her nasal character. She also reads words as if she has her finger pointing at each word much of the time. Terribly annoying.

Just okay

The book is missing something, but it was okay to read. I would appreciate the characters being older for all the sexual tension. That was creepy hear. I wanted to scold the girl for her behavior, since the guy was technically older...Also, some of the colloquialisms just didn’t fit and were cliche. Just a 1 dimensional story line. Even the epic battle was flat. What happened to the rest of the soldiers? Just lacking...

Narrator

Good book but the first narrator was so much better. Sucks when they switch narrators within a series.

Not bad of a plot, not into the narrator

I do not like the narrator for some reason. The 1st book, that narrator, matches so well and now, this narrator sounds so whiny and annoying. Maybe that’s how the author wanted it to be...considering Angel did come back in a different form of being? Overall, the story is not so bad.

love this series

A must read, funny, suspenseful and fierce romance! I think that the narrator helps bring out the characters.
