It's no surprise to anyone that Sara Cate wrote us another five-star banger. 🤌🏻💋

I've had my eye on Ronan Kade with his little appearances throughout the rest of the series, and to finally get this man in action was more than I could have asked for.

Daddy Ronan gives Emerson a run for his money (pun not intended).

"You're suffering, baby girl. Do you want Daddy to make you feel better?"

For anyone who has ever been a complete mess and just wished there was someone to help take care of you while you learned to take care of yourself, this book was written for us.

"Life can be very poetic, Daisy. But that doesn't mean it will always be pretty."

Daisy is so relatable in her struggles, especially as a young woman just trying to find her place. The pain and grief that both she and Ronan deal with throughout the story is such an honest representation of how much the bad makes you appreciate the good.

"But it turns out convincing yourself that someone else has it worse doesn't actually make you feel better. Because sadness is just... all around."

To wrap this up, just because a relationship is unconventional doesn't mean that it isn't the most real, most intense, and most world-altering love you will ever experience. And screw the haters. 😌

Definitely check your triggers for this one. If you take the leap, you'll be begging your partner to call you Baby Girl when it's all said and done.

Edit After Audio: Depending on how I'm feeling at the moment, I would rate this book between 4-5 ⭐️. A lot of criticism came from how much Daisy cries, and I think that opinion is rooted in ingrained misogyny because what's wrong with her being more open with her emotions? Did she get on my nerves at times? Yes, but not because of her emotional reactions to things.

Anyway, the audio was 🔥.

I loved the beginning author note with recap of first four books!
While money may not be an issue for Ronan, being lonely is. It’s hard not to fall in love with his caring, honest and dominant persona! Daisy is lost after losing her Mom 3 years ago, searching for something.

The first half creates the connection as Daisy and Ronan are so easily drawn to each other. They get intimate until near the 50% mark. When they do the scenes are hot 🥵
The epilogue HEA was just perfection and exactly the life I hoped for the couple 🥰

Narrators were great and exactly how I imagine the characters to sound ❤️

Loved Geo even more in this book and he deserves his own book! Always get excited to see the cameos of other characters. I really wished we had a scene with our throuple and the baby 😫

Excited for Eden’s book. There is a hint to who her leading man maybe and I am excited if that is the angle we go!

Holy Hotness!!! This story was 🔥🔥🔥💦💦💦. Daisy and Ronan were so freaking hot! And OMG why.... WHY was this man so damn swoony?!?!?!? Like.... hot AF and swoony AF! Sara Cate really knows how to write a HERO that women will box over (even if he is fictional). I love the story of how she came to be working at SPC in the first place. And when the lie came out..... and Ronan's reaction..... I CRIED!!! (which I haven't been doing with a lot of stories these days). The devastation was REAL! My heart was breaking for them! Ad to say I was ecstatic at the ending is putting it SO lightly! It went beyond my wildest dreams for the PERFECT HEA! I have been loving this series and this book did not disappoint at all!
