Sometimes fake feelings become real

The family was so close and she was his best friends sister. I just wanted to scream “just tell her, who would know “ or at least tell Cole he definitely trusted him. His grandpa was dead who was terminate his rights his own family.
The story of course was good. It was very different from the dirty world. I was hoping for Jesse and Katie to come over and congratulate them. I miss them. When Jameson true personality came out to play. He reminded me of Ash and what he would be like if he always wore a suit and had power in the business world. I so wanted them to go into the bar and run into Dirty and the Players and all sexy bodyguards/MC boys.
I really enjoyed the lunch where Jameson was eating with Dane …. If only Lex could have joined them with his pretty fangs.
This book is a no brainer, Jaine hasn’t written a book I haven’t loved.
I listened to the audio book and the voices are so good.
Thanks Jaine for another adventure in Vancouver.

I had to keep putting it down because life kept getting in the way. This was a good foundation for a new series and I'm looking forward to reading more about the Vance family. My imagination is in overdrive with all of the possibilities. Audiobook review. Dual narration. It's listed as 13 hours 36 minutes; I listened at speed 2.50 for 5 hours 26 minutes. Narrators Lee Samuels and Victoria Connolly both read well and fit the characters. Content warnings: both main characters have suffered because of other people's affairs; secrets; voyeurism; sp@nk¡ng; and @n@l.

His family's inheritance challenge turns Jameson's world upside down. Megan's recent breakup leaves her running away from her hometown and right into Jameson's path. After a rocky first meeting, Jameson and Megan become temporary roommates and temporary fiancés, then they fall in love. I can't wait to read about what Grandpa Vance has in store for Jameson's four older siblings. JP

LOVED IT.. & CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE

I love a good ‘fake to forever’ romance and Jaine has delivered one with a drool-worthy Billionaire with a secret he just can’t tell his chosen fake fiancé. Three brothers and one sister all working for, and responsible to, the family’s varying ventures. Suddenly billions in assets and their jobs are at risk because of their deceased Grandfather’s demands in his Will that’ll impact each and every one of their lives.. but with very different journeys. First to undertake his chosen task is Jameson (the youngest brother) who must go without sex for 90 days if he wants his legacy - which is not going to be easy for the notorious Player with a bad reputation for the ladies!! He must also clean up his act and, when his live-in friend’s sister comes to stay, the chemistry is instant, the temptation constant, the sexual push n pull frustrating and the awakened feelings an emotion too far. However, with a big brother’s advice, a Contract is eventually agreed, a ring is bought and a fake fiancé eventually obtained.

This listen has a delicious sizzling tension running through it because Jameson had to repeatedly say “no” over and over again. Megan had left her cheating ex with just a suitcase, a damaged heart because of broken promises, lost dreams, bitter betrayal and not a lot else. She wasn’t looking for a man and yet, this talented author skilfully weaves a very entertaining slow-burn with a strong determined woman and a hero who may or may not make it to the 90 days. There’s wit, dirty innuendos , character development, emotional dilemmas, sweet, heat, heart and happily ever afters. And now please let’s talk about the wonderful sexy on pointe narration by Lee Samuels who, for me, took this book to a delicious level 😉🤭🤫. Victoria was very good too.

Worth a credit? Held my attention all day, I didn’t want to hit pause and yes, creditworthy. Now I’m looking forward to the next sibling’s journey.

Why am I reading TWO books, that are both bad?!?!

LOVE Jaine, but this isn't it for me....I don't like the story in the story, especially when neither story is good or interesting.

Umm…

I don’t like writing reviews like this but here we are. This storyline had potential. I like a good fake relationship/fiancé story. But this was not a good one of those. First of all, the FMC was supposed to have been an author. This was an underdeveloped storyline, but thank goodness for that because she was terrible. No joke. Just yikes. So there’s that. Second, the whole time the MMC was trying to convince the FMC to be his fake finance he just seemed creepy. He was supposed to be a hot billionaire, WTH? How does he come off as a creeper? Again, yikes! Next we go on in the story, and the writing is so immature to the point that I put the book down several times and went to other stories bc I didn’t even want to finish it. But darn it, I paid for it (not full price thank goodness), so I was doing to finish it! So fortunately I did finish it (I fast forwarded through all of the parts where we were subjected to the FMC’s writing). I can’t say it got better, but it had some parts that weren’t awful. I definitely won’t listen to anything by this author again. Ever.
