May be my top book of the year!

First off, the narration was great. I loved this book. The world, the magic system, and the slowww burn cat & mouse romance. My only complaint is that I consumed it the week of release so now I have to wait to know what happens next.😭😭

Wow! It’s been a while

This was such an unexpected surprise… it’s been a while since a Romantasy book has had me in a chokehold like this book.
The narrator was *chef kiss* impecable
The plot was engaging
The characters were well developed and easy to relate and grow feelings for
Overall this is a new favorite!
Can’t wait for next year!

Witches & Enemies to Lovers - what more could you want!

I really enjoyed this book. Rune is a really wonderful main character and I enjoyed learning about the witches in this world! This book is heartbreaking and I am dying for book two! Narrator is really wonderful!

Perfect Balance

It’s hard to find a story with seamless character development AND romance that doesn’t make you roll your eyes. The story is fast-paced but not rushed; the characters have some depth but aren’t cliche; the romance just enough of a tease. And I always love a story with multiple POV’s. I wouldn’t have minded if the story had been a little longer so a few things could have been developed more but it’s possible I’m saying that because I didn’t want it to end!

I do wish, however, they would have used two narrators. The woman who reads it did a great job but they might as well do the alternating chapters justice and alternate narrators as well.

An encredibly fun escape - excited for book 2

I’m not a huge Romantasy fan, but I loved this book. I truly didn’t want it to end. The pacing was excellent, the characters had depth, and nothing seemed frivolous or out of context. I devoured it.

My Mind is STILL Spinning!

I could not put this book down. The narrator was phenomenal and the story was intricate, layered, and each character was full of depth. I'm hooked. 10/10

I can't wait for the sequels in this series.

Incredible Story, 5 stars!

Very unique, the writing is incredible. Action, adventure, magic, forbidden romance, suspense, surprises and unexpected plot twists. Let’s just say nothing happened like how I thought it would and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It also ends explosively on a cliff hanger. I can’t wait to read the next book.
