I really loved this!!
I’m a sucker for any good romantasy adventure, especially with a Viking twist. But this story blew my expectations out of the water! Beautifully written with rich world building that was easy to follow, I just couldn’t stop listening! I know some people may hate on the FMC, but I thought it was refreshing to have a female lead who isn’t a snarky, sarcastic trained killer. Silla is kind and generous and a survivor, which I believe is a different kind of strength. I can’t believe I have to wait for the next book, I wish I could start it right away!

Interesting world building excellent narrator
The narration is perfect. Overall plot is slightly predictable and reminiscent of others in the genre but the world building, location and characters are interesting and unique. Can’t wait to read the next one!

A first but not my last…
This was my first romantic fantasy novel & certainly won’t be my last. The performance was beautiful & the story immersive. Looking forward to my next Audible credit so I can start the next book ASAP.
