Maybe spoiler?

I really like it all the way until the last few chapters.. I personally am not a fan of that trope. But maybe the next book will clear things up.. I hope lol but was good nonetheless

at first I thought hunger games knock off but holy crap it's good

I haven't left a book with this many emotions swirling since I read acotar. the narration is beautiful. There is no smut and yet the romance aspect is heartbreakingly beautiful. I can't wait for the next book. I wish I had held off almost because now my brain is nagging at me for how she will resolve this. as long as in the end Kai and pay end up together, I'll be a happy girl. I don't care if it takes ten books but give them a happy ending so I can live peacefully. argh I loved this so much more than I ever could have expected.

This book was soo good. Definitely gives hunger game vibes. Uhh I need Kai and Paedyn to love each other in the second book but I have a feeling this is a gonna be a long roller coaster series for us

Overall good

It was a fairly good read. Slightly overhyped but entertaining. Many romantasy books are pretty predictable at this point.

This story is in my top teir list.

Need the second book asap

Loved this story, narrators were perfect! Need the second book now! I appreciate that for her there was never a triangle just a straight line in the relationships because the triangle is a killer for me.

Love this book! It reminds me of a better Hunger Games! No smut but the tension between the characters is amazing!

i can be pretty picky with books but i really liked this one! i sat through a five hour car ride listening to this the entire time and didn’t get bored once.
